I was expecting an orthostatic intolerance diagnosis to be incredibly difficult to get.. my doctor just like.. gave it to me pretty much? I'm so used to going through countless tests so when I asked if I had POTS and she just was like "definitely something pots-like yeah, whatever it is specifically isn't really important for now though" I was just like.. oh. that was less stressful than I thought. anyway diagnosis achieved, I feel very happy with the closure :)
Whenever endos say "Read the DSM! It doesn't even mention trauma!" it always pisses me off because that's blatantly false. First of all, the introduction to the dissociative disorders section has a whole paragraph on the link between trauma and dissociative symptoms.
"Dissociative disorders are frequently found in the aftermath of a wide variety of psychologically traumatic experiences in children, adolescents, and adults. Throughout this chapter, 'traumatic experiences' refers to experiences that result in psychological sequelae, as opposed to the physical impact that can cause a traumatic brain injury. Therefore, in the DSM-5, the dissociative disorders are placed next to, but are not part of, the trauma- and stressor- related disorders, reflecting the close relationship between these diagnostic classes. Both acute stress disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder include dissociative symptoms, such as amnesia, flashbacks, numbing, and depersonalization/derealization."
Secondly, in the diagnostic criteria for DID, it states:
"B. Recurrent gaps in the recall of everyday events, important personal information, and/or traumatic events that are inconsistent with ordinary forgetting."
Lastly, in the Associated Features section, it even gives more specific examples of the trauma that could cause DID:
"Individuals with the disorder typically report multiple types of interpersonal maltreatment in childhood and adulthood. Other overwhelming early life events, such as multiple long, painful, early-life medical procedures, also may be reported."
And that's not even getting into the numerous examples in other diagnostic tools of questions pertaining to trauma or the fact that the DSM is a.) very America-centric and b.) limited due to not including diagnoses like C-PTSD and P-DID (unlike the ICD-11, which does).
Sigh.

Why is it easier and more comfortable to sit in a position that actively damages my joints than it is to just sit with okay posture. Why does my body crave its own destruction
today, I wanna talk about an online shop that sells lots of disability aid. the shop is called bibipins, and they sell a variety of things. compression gear, joint braces, foldable canes, binders, and other items such as clothing. they have a decent sizing range, and the products are relatively well priced for what they do. I have not purchased from them yet, I'm saving money, but I'd definitely recommend looking into the shop if you're in the market for any of the mentioned products. the reviews are glowing, and they have the cutest patterns ever! I can't wait until I have enough money to buy from!
finally ordered from them! I'll make a review when the items get here :]

Hello! We are Dissociapedia, the official sideblog for the (WIP) encyclopedia for traumagenic systems!
What we aim to do is make an encyclopedia website but only for traumagenic systems, which means anything made by and for endogenic systems, willogenic systems, and tulpagenic systems will never be added.
It will be similar to pluralpedia, but again it's gonna be all made by traumagenic systems. The roles, info, xenoroles.. Everything! :)
We hope you find our site useful, and if you wish to submit something to it then please send it to our discord server!
(discord server is being worked on.)
Feel free to ask us questions!
The creator of the app plural star, TheHanyou, has used AI in the development of the app, and harassed me over a negative review, and accused me of discrimination for being against AI
proof:
Not only is AI incredibly harmful, but the harassment over a review is incredibly immature.
The app itself (which I have used, despite them claiming the opposite) absolutely sucks. It's full of glitches and problems, it's unresponsive, and even if it wasn't, it would still be made with AI and automatically disgusting
The first screenshot comes from the "about this app" section on Google play store. It is hidden unless you expand it. You can check for yourself (unless they edit the description).
also a note: i have multiple accounts. the account I used for the review (made from phone) isn't the same one on my tablet, which is where I had the app to try it out. Perhaps they saw that the account I used for the review wasn't one that used the app? I'm not sure if that's a thing.
I don't take much offense from being called an ugly person, out of all things, but I ask you to report the review if you want, and the app.
@anti-willo-miku @anti-willo-deku @anti-willo-solivan tags for reach!
Ai is killing our planet, and I cannot justify it.
ANOTHER NOTE!!!
the app was previously known as pluralspace, but that is NOT the same app as the current pluralspace, which I adore and use myself. I have never spoken to the developer of that app and I thank them from their job
maybe endos could want / need trauma holders for . . the trauma they may have ??? what kinda question is that lmao
the point of trauma-holders is to insure memory fragmentation, not to "deal with trauma".
"Memory fragmentation occurs to protect the brain from the trauma it endures and is the brain’s way of trying to heal." (Kylie Hamacher, 2026.) (feel free to dm me for my source on this if you can't find it!! XD)
some parts might be more tolerant of healing with access to it, but trauma-holders literally develop from the severe trauma that traumagenic systems go through. they develop as a means to shut-off those memories to ensure functional life for the system. watering down trauma-holders to just "oh we remember things" is inherently ableist to systems who have suffered so much.

if you are pro-tulpa systems then you are pro-cultural appropriation actually. hit post
can we pleae normalize [eople having multiple disorders? i hate how people (mostly due to dumbass subreddits like fakedisordercringe) thinking if you have more than 3 disorders your faking when its more common for people who are mentally ill to have multiple disorders and a lot if not pretty much all disorders stem from others so yea... if you have 1 thatll quickly turn into 10 more... not always but it happens a lot and is common because thats how being mentally ill works
trying to talk about being a trans man online these days is geniunely such a chore. the moment we mention we are uncomfortable with the whole 'trans men can be lesbians' ideology, WE'RE called transphobic? and then they get the nerve to go 'well you're a man you don't get to be apart of lesbian discussions' ??? ok so according to you, a man can be a lesbian, but the moment a man actually says something about it, he can't give any valuable input? just say you're mad at being called out and moved on
[this is not an invitation to debate.. if u disagree, block me and move on! read our dni + op is a minor. no this is not a transmed/truscum post.. transmeds and truscums can fuck off]
A list of the specific chronic illness/disability-related things in Saiki K that resonate with me personally
(Your mileage may vary, my experiences are not universal, I recognize that some of this is kind of a reach etc etc)
