Not Here

i was listening some music on my ipad and suddenly "Evenflow” by Pearl Jam started playing, this song reminds me so much of my dad, we use to listed to it while driving from school to the house.

i don't know why but i just started thinking about a particular memory, my dad passed away on October and my boyfriend's brother married on December, i remember that when i saw the bride waking down the aisle with her dad i broke down in tears that once the ceremony was over i had to just run away from there, i had such a horrible anxiety attack.

just thinking that i would never have the chance of walking down the aisle with my dad, or having our dance at the reception just broke my heart into pieces.

Middle Earth Problems!

me: ... *excited* and every table will be named after a place in middle earth.

mom: but no one will know where to sit, it will be confusing.

me: mmm yeah you're right... but i don't care, oh and by the way, my in laws are sitting at Mordor.

mom: *glares*

One of my friends has a gym membership and he can take a person for free so he is taking me, i decided to go and TRY to start a healthier life (you know, to fit on the wedding dress and stuff) but last night we went to eat some burgers! augh, staying fit is sooooo damn hard!! we finished our two hours routine and we were starving, we had a subway on the way but we wanted to go the chubby way!!

last week i went on a quest to find the perfect wedding shoes! and i ended up buying this super cute shoes instead... damn i really hate sales season,

i actually found the shoes that i wanted for my wedding but they were all size eight, i still have lots of time so no worries

Not as simple as it sounds

You know, i was always the kind of girl that never dreamed of a big wedding, of music and carnivals and a party of thousands of people, to tell you the truth, if i could just skip all this hassle i would.

i am struggling between the me that wants just a small dinner with the family after the ceremony and my other side that wants just a tad bit of fun.

this planning stuff is not as simple as it sounds.

The Proposal

I really had no idea this was going to happen, we had been talking a lot about getting married because my boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years but, you know, some obstacles made it hard to take the big step.  

so huge surprise when my boyfriend dropped on one knee on Christmas. i always joked that i did not want your typical proposal of going to dinner, roses and the ring on a piece of food and he would say that i made it hard on him, but i knew this wasn't true at all, he has always been very creative but i seriously wasn't expecting this at all.

the first thing i noticed after my brain started working again was this beautiful box with a mini door, oh but not any door, it was Bag End’s door (Bilbo's house) and inside a message in Elvish that read: Life is fleeting, love is eternal. 

He opened the box and there he was, little Bilbo (with an angry face haha!) showing me my engagement ring, coming right from the mines of Moria (according to my boyfriend).

this was definitely beyond my expectations and i loved every single second of it, my boyfriend bought this plain box in a dollar store and transformed it into a Lord of the Rings wonder, he worked on this project for months and i know he put his heart into it..

The start

So i’m kind of new to this thing and i wanted to record mmm like a diary of some sorts of this whole planning thing and my life. don't really expect anyone to ready this, but if so you are welcomed to my chaotic mind.
