Dear body, I know I said sleep was for the weak. But I thought we agreed I was the weak? If not I retract my statement. Please let me sleep. Second sleepless night in 3 days :/ I will actually die if this keeps up.
I made these in response to hate crimes in my community. They are full size and free to download and print if you’d like to use them, too.
Since these are going around, I wanted to fill in some of the gaps! Here are seven more posters for communities under threat. As with the first set, these are completely free to download, print, share, repost, etc with no credit needed. This is open source activism.
I’m pretty confident that when it comes to living with chronic illness(es), my life motto is:
Livin la vida broka.
Miracles happen.
😱 I love this!!!!
Went to the doctor and was honest about my health and mental health. (Well done me). But I realise what I have is situational depression. But unlike other situations - I can't change my situation because the biggest thing in my situation is my body/health. Like, I explained it to my friend yesterday: just day you're depressed and isolated as a stay at home mother with a young child. You can put them in care a day a week, you can join a mother's group; in short: you can change your situation. I can't change my situation. So it's learning to adjust. Bring on the therapy, I guess.
support people with misophonia and if they tell you to stop making a sound, stop making it immediately if you can. you do not understand how much a sound can affect us.
support people with misophonia and stop making the sound even if they ask you rudely. sorry but if someone is having a misophonic reaction they wont be in a good mood at all. sure, some people will be nice when telling you to stop, but even if the person is screaming at you to stop, you need to stop.

Can you believe there are people who lay down and they just….go to sleep?
