𝐖ell aware of her little quirks habits, there was some embarrassment tied with how she tended to eat fruits ———— apples had to be sliced, mangos needed to be peeled and cut or eaten with gloves, and strawberries needed to have sugar sprinkled upon them. A slight pout came upon her features, the tone was serious but there wasn’t a doubt within the wrtier’s mind that Cassie was teasing her.
Artemis spun around upon her computer chair, looking up at the witch and, with an equally serious expression ;
❛❛ Yes. The lady would like her appy slices. ❜❜ Perhaps she was being teased but, the love and attention taken into producing little bunnies was not ignored.
With Cassie there’s almost always a little hint of teasing, but thankfully more often than not it was intended is the sweetest of ways. Especially when it came to someone’s food quirks. She’d never truly be malicious regarding food since feeding others was her main love language. ( Well --- except for her ex, who someone had a fondness for the oddest combinations. who on earth would ever think of putting ketchup on chocolate cake of all things ?! ) However, sugar on strawberries or bringing Artemis her snacks sliced was hardly any sort of inconvenience, and it gave the witch an excuse to sometimes make cute things like little apple rabbits for a treat or to cut vegetables up into stars or hearts for Artemis. Something so silly and simply that brought a pleasantly domestic feeling to Cassie.
She laughed softly as Artemis perfectly matched her serious tone though and the witch paused after setting the small plate on the author’s desk to plant a kiss to the other’s forehead. “ Apply slices for the lady. Fresh from our finest supplier in the kitchen. “ Another soft kiss, this time to Artemis’ cheek, “ I’ve got some tea brewing too and I’ll bring that up when it’s ready, the garden gave lots of good herbs and flowers to dry. How’s the work coming, babe? “
