I had some thoughts on Gen IX parallel Gen V remakes.
They could absolutely retcon Genesect to be a future paradox and introduce its proper revived form. They could then add its ancient form as a Past Paradox. Unova is divided, as it showcased past and futuristic themes as version counterparts. Both the past/future groups oppose eachother in the new games, to the point of aggression with two evil teams. Team Past team seeks the resurrection of the original dragon in its true form to stop the war. Team Future seeks to recreate the original dragon with Technology. Of course they'd be called Black 3 and White 3: a continuation of the story as per gen V thematics.
Unlike the uninspired Gen IV remakes, that lacked their counterpart's gimmick, they'd embrace Terastalization (also, it seems more portable than gigantimax). This also works with Gen V, as it introduced Gems for types. Perhaps a researcher from Paldea found a way to harness the gem's power for Terra Orbs. Since Pokémon company seems to want to ditch the gems except normal though, we can say they were "Mined dry, with barely any remaining." Special Terra Orbs (inspired by the Black and White orbs) add the power of the original Dragon to Zekrom or Reshiram, imperfectly. This replaces DNA splicers.
In the end, we meet the past and future Kyurem respectively: like "Roaring King" and "Iron Salvation" or something.
