One Direction became an escape for me when my mom became sick when I was in high school and passed away when I was 18.

I feel like in a lot of ways I’m grieving a part of my adolescence too.

You never know when the last time you’ll see a person will be. I remember when I saw One Direction for the first and last time in the summer of 2013; the first and last time I would see Liam in person.

It doesn’t feel real.

if anyone from back in the day is still on here, i want to give you an update on my life:

-after taking a break from school, i graduated college at a different school than the one i went to right out of high school. i also switched from studying music tech to english with an emphasis in creative writing

-i’m single

-i’m still in missouri, but i’m okay here. i may move away someday but i live near a city now and i’m content

-i have a professional job now that i like and doing work that makes me happy
