No I don't usually take commissions I just prefer to dump doodles here lol
after the latest session I've decided to make a new ref for my pilot in a current lancer campaign ā it's basically a human version of one of my ocs from memoriae but equipped with cool-ass armor parts from various games & movies I like lmao
A quick portrait I made for an upcoming RP
Name's Alvi
He's the chef's apprentice with passion for cooking who's trying to make the worst dish possible for art's sake
A very nice gardener! In reality, he's a broken nihilistic ex-inquisitor that was abandoned during a stealth mission. He decided to stay as a botanist and a gardener to study the very anomalies and relics he's been fighting against in the past growing a soft spot for them.
Paladin of the Moon saw the Sun for the first time and became determined to create a safe haven for all subjects, and in this goal he became an anomaly himself. He would later grow a 'garden' that no man could ravage and no thought could disrupt peace in it.
(also yeah he IS based on Marcel Gidote's Holy Crab band, check these guys out they're like super underrated)
And now ā for Memoriae stuff. My personal project and a comic I'm currently trying to put together.
Another batch of reposts (of varying age) BUT this time with some introduction. (it's gonna be a loooong intro for some basic context)
Biomechanical tiny workers of Westergaard ā 4M4K-O drones.
"THE ABYSS FORGETS NOTHING.
IT MERELY WAITS.
AND ALL THAT IS SUNKEN......
INEVITABLY RISES."
The whole thing takes place on (yes, on) Westergaard ā a walking brutalist city megastructure that marches towards nothingness. The whole world is flooded and frozen over ā a reminder of what blind religious fanatics have led to in the distant past.
Nowadays, nobody remembers what really happened in the past. Everybody must work, and the most important workers are the Murkwalkers ā basically, your average adventurers that carry out their jobs and loot ancient ruins in the depths of the sea. Most of them would and will do anything to get a higher position on the leaderboard.
While the story mostly takes place above the seas, the first part is entirely about their expeditions as murkwalkers.
Ol' Thunder ā an enigmatic but wise Captain of the Brigade (first pic is his current design). Despite his appearance, he's a competent leader that has quite the reputation and quite the grip.
Schtubb ā the first mate, the powerhouse with a mining laser in her head. Neither she nor the Captain actually partake in expeditions for most of the time, appearing only when things get really personal for Ol' Thunder or whenever other members can't handle things themselves.
And now for the protagonists.
Stiell 'Freeway' ā the grumpy dispatch. Despite playing in a band from time to time, he's actually quite closed and reclusive, spending most of his time behind computer screens. He says it lets him to have more control over things when he's not descending unlike his coworkers.
Juno 'Tardigrade' ā the cheerful engineer. Unlike Khnuran, she's actually siblings with Stiell. Both being foreign to Westergaard, they both rely on Khnuran's experience. Her inventions help them a lot underwater and she's got quite the punch... But during free time Juno's always a bit fidgety even with her brothers.
Khnuran 'Earthmover' ā the unperturbed demolitionist. Despite being almost the same age, he takes care of Juno and Stiell as his younger siblings. He was supposed just to look after the two by Captain's orders from time to time, but eventually this lonesome slogger naturally became part of the trio. He's just that reliable and protective despite always being somewhere 'out there' with his mind.
I sure hope no expedition reveals something that they shouldn't really know.
And lastly, some miscellaneous doodles
Phew. Guess that's a good starting point for future stuff eh?
