Living on the Caribbean coast reminded me of my first Zelda game "Link's Awakening", so I decided to quickly sketch out the dream girl, Marin! I remember being really sad when she ultimately vanished with the island. Or maybe the Wind Fish granted her dream?

Bullets and villains

Here are some Wonder Woman sketches! First we got Wondy herself blocking bullets like a pro. Was really trying to get a good, dynamic gesture out of her.

Next we got her misogynistic, telepathic nemesis Dr. Psycho! I always imagined him as a bit of a college professor who got nicknamed by his students for being such a...well, psycho!

I finished this up last night. It's the logo for an event my father is going to be holding in our little farm. Vallenato Is a type of folk music from the coast of Colombia, where I come from.

The event is an ongoing business where at dusk a group of young musicians and my father regale the story of vallenato through song to guests.

The logo is representative of the accordion, the main instrument of Vallenato and the sun setting into the sea in a picturesque fashion as is common on the mouth of the Caribbean sea where we live.

I felt pretty inspired by 80′s aesthetic and looked, especially by the graphic design of the sun setting over LA which is pretty popular. The colors are of a classic VHS tape cover while also hearkening to the actual colors of the sun setting over dusk. I thought it was an appropiate choice because in many ways traveling to the Caribbean is like traveling back in time. Unless you decide to spend your time in a fancy resort.
