Hoy I was kinda wondering, what kinda brushes do you use? Your stuff always comes out super clean!

I actually tend to switch up/tweak my brushes quite often, largely thanks to just being overly finicky with settings and such. Primarily though, I use 2 particular brushes for my sketching/lines.

On the left is the brush I’ve most often used here, a modified calligraphy pen I made by just creating a solid black ellipse in an empty canvas, rotating it to a diagonal slant, blurring the edges heavily to reduce aliasing at smaller sizes, and then applying that image file as a pen tip. As mentioned, I tend to tweak the settings on it quite often (Thickness, rotation, opacity, “amount of paint”, etc.), as well as the relative size of the lines in any given drawing, so the best consistent info I can really give you is how the tip itself works. Nothing particularly fancy, just a kinda weird tip shape.On the right, meanwhile, is the brush I’ve been using quite a lot more recently (The lines on the Bloberta pic and the 4/13 draw both use this brush, for reference), and it’s actually just a plain circle tipped pen at a constant size 1.5 (And possibly a bit bigger if I’m doing something REALLY high res, I guess.) Again, nothing fancy.I tend to also either limit or disable pen pressure on my lines, which is mainly just a personal preference of mine. I find it makes things look more crisp. (In the examples above in particular, the left pen had a minimum pen pressure of 30, while the right pen has a minimum of 60, although the pen size is probably small enough to make that value negligible regardless.)Also, I use Clip Studio Paint for all of my art at present. So I’m not certain how well any of this would translate to other programs. Either way, I hope this helps!
