This is my Quadruplets AU X BNHA/MHA AU. So, quirks and magic and stuff in this.
Slight Trigger Warning: Talk of murders/serial killers, mentioned SA/r*pe, talk of past assault. It's all very minor, but still present, so I wish to give you that warning. If you are uncomfortable with any of these topics, feel free to skip.
"Another one?" The detective asked as they walked up to their partner.
"Yep. Same M.O, same brutal way of torture and killing, the only difference, as usual, is the victim type." The man took out a cigarette, stepping away from the crime scene, his partner following. He lit it before take a hit from it, breathing out the smoke, "As usual, the only thing these victims have in common is the fact they are villains, but they have no connection to each other. This villain was a petty drug dealer, while the last was an actual murderer, and the one before that was a child murderer and kidnapper."
"But even still, there are bigger villains, ones who are infamous, that whoever is doing these crimes haven't even touched." The woman added, "Killed by a quirk that manipulates either light or shadow, little to no blood which means this is a secondary location, no evidence left behind."
"We're taking DNA swabs, of course, but it'll probably end up as nothing."
"Just what is the point in all of this? There has to be a motive, right?"
"I would hope so. Otherwise, they just kill because they can."
The man finished his cigarette before they continued investigating.
***
A picture of the most recent victim was taped on the board, the woman sighing, "Alright, Steele, let's look at this from the top."
"Acker, we've already been over this a thousand times." The man sat in a chair, looking at the board as if it had personally offended him.
"But there has to be something we're missing." She looked over the pictures, "The Storm Wraith. Was able to control storms and shoot lightening from her hands. A vigilante whose crimes involves sinking cargo fleets that were trafficking women and children. Chrono Fang, a villain who could briefly slow, accelerate, or freeze time withing a specific range. Was known for conducting a ton of high end robberies by stopping or slowing down time as he walked in."
"Neuroshade. Was able to project hallucination and manipulate emotions. Technically a villain. She used these powers against convicted child abusers and child rapists." Steele continued, "Mirror Hex, traveled through reflective surfaces. Could pull others through with her. Was Neuroshade's partner, as well as a high profile assassin. Iron Viper. Could turn anything into its metallic form. He used this to create weapons and would sell them underground to other villains and vigilantes."
"Gravitational Rex. A villain who had the ability to control gravity, allowing him to crush and levitate people and things. Used his powers to kidnap, sexually assault, and kill his victims." Acker pointed to the last picture, "Finally, Inferno Prime, able to generate intense heat. A low level 'villain', if you could even call him that. A simple drug dealer with a few arson-related crimes, but only enough to get away, never to really destroy or kill." She took some red string and connected Neuroshade and Mirror Hex, "So far, the only connect are these two because they were partners."
"Great, glad we went over that." Steele scoffed, "Look, I know your want for justice is strong, but-"
He continued rambling as Acker looked over the pictures, trying to find something they were missing.
Suddenly, she gasped, grabbing some more red string.
"-without much evidence, we- what're you doing?"
Acker connected the picture of Storm Wraith and Chrono Fang, "It was staring us in the face!" She looked at her partner, "Whenever Storm sunk those cargo ships, the traffickers admitted that time seemed to slow down for them, making it harder to run to life rafts. And do you know when Chrono Fang committed all of his crimes?"
"It was always during storms and he only did his heists on older buildings which would bug out during said storms." Steele said before widening his eyes, "...You don't think-"
"We already know Neuroshade and Mirror Hex were partners, that was public knowledge. And just know, our last three victims. Iron Viper, Gravitational Rex, and Inferno Prime." She took more red string, "Iron Viper made weapons and engraved all of his weapons with his IV logo. And what did these two have on them? Rex had arm enhancers made by Iron Viper, Inferno Prime had a simple knife made by Iron Viper, one that could withstand his heat!"
"Okay, so, there's more connections than we thought. But that doesn't explain why them." Steele said, "I mean, Storm and Chrono possibly didn't know each other, just took advantage of one another's powers. Neuro and Mirror directly worked together. Rex and Inferno bought from Viper. Those are three very different relationships."
"But at least now we know, these people are connected to each other, which could make it easier to find either the next victim and even possibly the killer!"
Steele looked at his partner before looking at the pictures, "...You know... I think we could go further." He stood up and walked over to the board. He took the red string, "Maybe this is just a rumor, but people have alleged seeing Chrono and Neuro together. And we had found Iron Viper making mirrors with strong metal lining. Mirrors that could be used by Mirror Hex."
"So, they're all connected! How didn't we see that before?"
"Because their connections are so vague. You would need to know these people or have some deeper information on them to see all this." Steele hissed.
"Or, maybe, these people have information the killer wants." Acker corrected, "Usually, when there's these little connections, the victims tend to have something their killer wants. Of course, it could be anything, but with the torture and the need for a secondary location as a dumping site? Leads me to think they have some information that either needs to be hidden or they want from the victims.
"Detective Acker, Detective Steele!" The two turned, a woman walking in with a smile, "We just had a breakthrough!"
"A breakthrough?" Steele asked as they began walking to the woman's desk.
"We did DNA analysis! Like before, most of the DNA is just the victim's." She sat down, the two detectives standing behind her, "But, this time, there was a piece of hair that we ran? And look!"
She clicked a button. A picture of Inferno Prime appearing on screen with a picture of the strand of hair they collected. The screen turned green with a DNA vector connecting the two images. However, after a moment, a red X appeared over the DNA vector.
"It's not a match?" Acker asked, shocked, "Then, run it, who-"
"Already have!" The woman clicked another button, a new picture showing on screen.
It was a headshot of a young man with brown hair and sky blue eyes, tan skin, smiling brightly in it.
"Sora Hikari." The woman explained, clicking a couple more buttons and showing more pictures of the young man, "He works as a performer for the Light Circus! In fact, he's one of the main performers! Why?" She showed a new image, which showed the young man, Sora, manipulating light out of his hands to create a carousel made of light, "His quirk, Light Attractions, allows him to create elaborate attacks made entirely out of light! He's most known for the carousel, but he's made things like spinning tea cups, a water ride, he's even made a toy robot that people could operate, with his assistance of course!"
"Sora Hikari, huh?" Acker smirked, "Anything else on him?"
"Nope." The other smirked, "Nearly completely off the grid! Tried to do a background check, it's like he doesn't exist before getting his job! No mentions of family, no mentions of schooling, no criminal history as far as I could see, just a name, occupation, and home address!"
"What's his schedule?" Steele asked.
"He is an all day performer! Works Monday through Friday, 9am to 10pm!"
"So he'll be at work then now? Send us-"
She clicked a button, "Already done!"
"Thank you." Steele looked at his partner, "Let's go pay Mr. Hikari a visit."
"What did you say?"
The three turned, seeing the chief.
"Sir, we believe we found a lead on the case! There's DNA evidence of a Sora Hikari at the crime scene-"
The man's eyes widened before he narrowed them, "Do not go and speak with him until you have more proof."
"What?!" Acker exclaimed, "But, Sir, this is the breakthrough we need, we-"
"No. If that is true, you two are stepping into muddy waters. You need more. Camera footage, eye witnesses, interview people around him before going to Mr. Hikari."
"But, Sir, we-"
"That's an order." The chief hissed, turning his back, "Trust me, you do not want to go after him unless you are 100% percent accurate."
The man walked away.
Acker and Steele looked at each other.
***
"Yahooooo! That was great!" The brunette exclaimed, clapping excitedly. He helped the four little girls off the light creation he had made, "How was that?! Did you have fun?!"
"We're all wet now!" One girl let out a playful whine, a smile on her face.
"Oh, that! I'm so silly!" The performer playfully smacked his forehead, "Duh! A splash ride would get you wet! You guys have towels?"
They shook their heads.
He looked out to the crowd, pointing to the parents, "Moms? Dads? Towels?"
The parents all looked at each other.
"Now that might be a problem!" The brunette snapped, pretending to think as the attraction disappeared, the girls instantly drying up since the water was made of light, "How on Earth are we going to get you four dry? Maybe we can find a really big fan!"
"Sora!" One of the girls giggled.
"Hold on, I'm thinking!" He created a thought bubble over his head as he pretended to think, causing the crowd to laugh.
"Sora! We're dry!"
The thought bubble turned into an exclamation point before disappearing as he looked down at the girls, "...Well how did you do that?!" He teased, earning lots of laughter, "Well, I guess that crisis is solved!" He began leading the girls back to the parents as an employee approached behind him, "Alright, back to your moms and dads! Now, for my next- Ooh!" He turned around and jumped as he nearly ran into the person behind him. He regained his playful composure, chuckling, "Now, now! You can't startle me like that, my friend! I would have summoned my Blaster Blaze!" He teased as they moved away from the crowd and back onto the stage.
The worker motioned him to come closer and to cut his mic. Sora put his hand over his mic and moved it away from his mouth as he leaned his ear towards the other.
They whispered, "You're needed urgently in the front office. The rest of your shows have been cancelled for the day."
"What? Why?" He asked.
"I-I'm sorry, I don't really know. Everyone is going to be refunded, we're going to deal with it, but you're needed in the office. Now."
Sora nodded. He turned to the crowd and put a smile on his face, "I am so, so, so sorry everyone, but it seems an emergency came up! The rest of my show has been postponed!" Of course, the crowd whined, groaned, a few letting out angry 'what's and 'seriously's, "I know, I know, but I promise, I will put on an even bigger and brighter showing as soon as I can! But you all have to promise that you'll have fun for the rest of the day, otherwise I can't do it!"
Everyone let out an "I promise!"
"Good, good! Now, my good friend here will explain all the boring stuff regarding the sudden end of my show as I head out!" Sora removed his earpiece mic and offered it to his coworker.
They took it and began to explain the logistics as Sora made his way to the back of the stage. He walked through the backdoors of the building in the employees only area, using the less populated spacing to make his way to the office.
"Hey, Sora, I thought you had a show?" One of his friends called.
"I did, but I guess an emergency came up?" He shrugged, "Sorry, Kairi, you and Riku will have to work twice as hard for a bit!"
The woman shrugged, smiling, "That's okay! I'm sure a ton of little girls will enjoy being pretty princesses and a ton of little boys will love to be ninjas and pirates or whatever else!"
Sora chuckled and nodded, waving at her as he made it to the office building. He pulled the door opened and walked down the small hallway, knocking on the door.
"Mr. Mouse? It's Sora!"
"Come in."
Sora walked in and saw his boss sitting behind his desk, two detectives standing on either side of it. He shut the door behind him and smiled, "Hello, Mr. Mouse, detectives! Is something the matter?"
"Sora Hikari?" The female detective asked.
"That's me!"
"I am Detective Elicia Acker, this is my partner Ryota Steele. We have a few questions we need to ask you."
"Okay!"
"We need to ask you them at the station."
Sora widened his eyes, his smile faltering, "...Pardon? Am I in trouble? Did I do something?"
Steele made his way to Sora, taking out quirk neutralizer handcuffs, "We'll talk about it at the station."
"O... O-Okay..." Sora murmured, smile falling, "I-I... Okay."
"Hands behind your back."
Sora did so, clearly tense but not putting up a fight.
"Sora." He looked at his boss, "I'm not sure what they're accusing you of, but I want to reassure you that this will not affect your job. I know you didn't do whatever it is!" The man smiled.
Sora gave a sad smile back, "I-I'm sorry to have brought this here again, Mr. Mouse."
Again?
"It's not your fault, Sora. I'm sure it's just another misunderstanding."
The detectives would ask later, but they took hold of Sora. Mr. Mouse stood, explaining he would lead them through the back so they didn't cause a scene for the parents and children. As they walked, people turned and looked, gasping and trying to walk over. Sora looked down, clearing upset but trying not to make it a big deal.
"Sora!"
He looked up, seeing Riku. The man glared and went to step forward, only for Kairi to grab his arm.
"It's okay!" Sora reassured, smiling as best he could.
"What the hell are you guys doing?!" Riku yelled, Kairi holding him back before he could do anything stupid, "Haven't you guys done enough?!"
What is he talking about?
"I-I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding, Riku! I'll be fine! Just make sure the kids have a good time for me!"
"But-!"
"I'll be back in no time, I'm sure!"
The detectives got to their car and had Sora sit in the back. They got in the front and passenger seats before beginning to drive to the station. Once they were far enough away, Acker, who was sitting passenger, glanced in the rearview mirror. She saw Sora no longer looked upset. No, he looked almost smug, a small smirk on his face.
What was he smirking about?
They got to the station, Acker opening the backdoor and helping Sora out.
"Tell me, did you two do your research?" Sora asked arrogantly.
"Excuse me?"
"Did you do your research? About me?"
"Let's talk in a room."
"That's a no." He snickered.
They led Sora to a room and he was told to sit down. He did, an aura of confident smugness about him, one he didn't have back at his job. Steele sat with him as Acker went to grab the file. The male detective explained his rights, Sora acknowledging and accepting them, before the two sat there. Neither men said anything, Steele just staring at Sora with slightly narrowed eyes, the brunette looking around the room, almost bored. Once Acker came back, she dramatically dropped a manilla folder onto the table.
Sora glanced at it, raising an unimpressed eyebrow. He then looked at the female detective, "Is that suppose to scare me?"
"Mr. Hikari, have you heard of the villain Inferno Prime?"
Sora nodded, "I've heard of him. He's been on the news for petty arson and drugs or something."
"Did you hear what happened to him?"
Sora tilted his head, confused, "Something happened to him."
"He was murdered." Steele said blandly.
Sora widened his eyes before letting out a sigh, "Oh, I see... I'm sorry to hear that."
"I'm sure you are." Acker scoffed, "So sorry in fact that you can't even act like you care."
"What? I-I'm sorry, but the guy was a villain! Sure, he was a pretty minor villain, but villains and heroes get killed all the time!"
"But they don't get murdered." She opened the folder and placed a picture of the brutality of Inferno Prime's body.
The brunette cringed at the sight, looking away.
"Want to explain that?"
"I don't know what you want me to say."
"Tell us what happened." Steele demanded.
"How the hell do I know?"
"You have to know something! Your DNA was found at the crime scene!"
Sora looked at the two detectives, confused, "...That's not possible."
"We found a strand of your hair-"
"That's not possible! I don't even know where that is!"
"Alright, then answer this, where were you last night?"
"I get off at 10, then I go home. I live in an apartment complex, next to a nice elderly lady. Everyone calls her Grandma." Sora hissed, "She always waits for me to get home before she gets ready for bed because she doesn't like me walking around so late at night. It's a twenty minute walk! So I got home at around 10:20pm, helped Grandma to bed, then went to my own room and fell asleep!"
"And you didn't go anywhere else?" Acker asked skeptically.
"No! Check the cameras! There's cameras all over the apartment, plus the cameras all over the building next door!" He leaned back in his chair, "This is fucking ridiculous."
The two detectives looked at each before back at Sora, Steele asking, "What are people talking about when they say this is happening again?"
Sora couldn't help the smirk that appeared on his face, "It means this is happening again."
"Alright, enough of this." Acker grabbed his wrist, both her eyes and where she placed her hand turning green, "Tell me the truth, were you there when Inferno Prime was murdered?"
"What are you two doing?!"
Everyone jumped and looked towards the door.
"Chief-!"
"I will talk to you two later." The man growled, walking over to Sora. He quickly uncuffed the brunette, who had a bright smile on his face as he rubbed his wrists, "I am so sorry about this, Mr. Hikari."
"Oh, it's okay, Chief! I guess they're pretty new to this district, huh?" He teased, subtly digging at the two detectives.
The man offered his hand, "Let me take you back to work personally. I'll also apologize to Mr. Mouse about this hassle again."
"Oh, thank you, I appreciate it!" Sora took the man's hand, letting the other pull him up.
Sora followed after the chief, smirking at the two detectives as he walked by, the two glaring at him.
***
Steele and Acker stook in front of the chief in his office, the man having his arms crossed and a pissed off face.
"Do you two have any idea what you've done?!"
"We were trying to solve this case-"
"You disobeyed a direct order!"
"We have DNA evidence! We could hold him for at least 24 hours and we were close to getting a confession-"
"No, you two do not understand why I told you to collect more evidence before bringing in Sora Hikari!" The chief pinched his temples, taking a deep breath. He reached behind his desk and took out a newspaper before handing it to the two.
Steele took it and both detectives read the headline.
Sora Hikari Chooses Not to Press Charges Against the Police Department
"This case has put a lot of pressure on the officers. I know they were just trying to do the right thing!" - Sora Hikari when asked outside his workplace.
Next to the headline was a picture of Sora with a large bandage on his cheek and a few small cuts across his face. Yet, he still smiled, though it was strained.
"The reason why the two detectives assigned to this case before you guys were fired, was because of how they handled the case." The chief explained, "They found an article of clothing that allegedly was only sold to a few people, Sora Hikari allegedly being one of those people. Along with that, they allegedly found his DNA on the article of clothing. Instead of waiting to make sure this was accurate, they rushed in. They rushed into the Light Circus and rushed the stage while Mr. Hikari was preforming. They had forced him to the ground aggressively and tried to put on quirk eliminator handcuffs, all while Mr. Hikari had a couple of kids in one of his light attractions. The only reason the two detectives stopped was because Mr. Hikari and the crowd was telling them to stop, that the kids would get hurt, to at least let Mr. Hikari put them down. They let him get up and he gently put the kids down, pointing them off stage before the detectives once again pushed him to the ground.
Mr. Hikari sustained a bruised cheek, superficial lacerations and abrasion to the face and arm, and his wrists were cut due to how roughly they put the handcuffs on. They also dragged him quite roughly to the car, dislocating his shoulder. They brought him down for questioning while he was still hurt and demanded answers before they would allow medical. Mr. Hikari was crying and unresponsive and, after an hour of this, they reluctantly allowed medical attention. While Mr. Hikari was in the hospital to be treated, the article of clothing was retested.
The first person who tested the fabric had made an error. The clothing item was not some rare article of clothing, there were millions that were sold. Not only that, Mr. Hikari's DNA was not found on the clothing item. Meaning he was arrested in front of a large crowd of people at his place of work, which could have damaged his reputation or, worse, gotten him fired, was manhandled, sustained thankfully minor injuries, and children were put at risk." The chief clenched his fists, "All because the two detectives rushed into things."
"This happened months ago... why weren't we informed?" Steele asked.
"Because the precinct wanted to sweep this under the rug." The chief sighed, "A public apology was issued to Mr. Hikari, his place of work, and all the families who either saw the incident or were directly involved because their children were in Mr. Hikari's attraction. The two detectives were also publicly denounced and fired due to their handling of the case. Mr. Hikari thankfully didn't press charges, only asked that his medical bills be paid, which we did so. He retained his job, the public supportive Mr. Hikari during the trying times, his reputation wasn't damaged thankfully, and a lot of behind the scenes moving of departments." He pointed to the two detectives, "That's why you two transferred over here from another district, in hopes this wouldn't happen again."
Acker cringed but put her hand to her chest, "But, sir, my quirk! It's Polygraph! I can directly tell if he's lying or not!"
"I know, but with no evidence, it's your word against his. And he already has a great advantage." The chief clenched his fists, "That being he was roughed up by two detectives previously from our district over false evidence and accusations. The public was angry, they'll just be angry again if we try to say 'Believe us this time.'"
The two were silent.
"...We're sorry, sir."
"Look, I'm not saying that you guys are wrong. To be honest? I don't trust that man either. There is something off about him." The chief leaned back into his desk, "However, he's now to be treated with special care because of what those two detectives who botched the case."
The two reluctantly nodded before they were dismissed. They went back to their room with the board and red string and such. They asked for the DNA test to be redone, just to ensure it was Sora's, while they focused on trying to piece things together.
"Reran the test?" The woman walked in, "Yes, it connects to Sora Hikari."
"That's great, so the DNA is right." Steele groaned, "But Acker just got the camera footage for the apartment and the surrounding buildings? His alibi matches. There are cameras all over his apartment building and at least one would have caught him sneaking out the window or something, but nope. He gets home at 10:20pm, is seen helping his neighbor from 10:20 to 10:30, then walks into his apartment. Lights turn off at 11pm and there's no movement until 8am."
"His quirk manipulates light, so he could have just made it hard to see on cameras... But that's speculation." Acker groaned.
Steele sighed before widening his eyes, "...You said there's no information about his family, right?"
"Na-da." The woman answered.
"What if... What if it wasn't Sora Hikari?"
"What? But it's his DNA!"
"Yes, but, hear me out, this is a crazy theory."
***
"You okay?" Riku asked the brunette as they each carried boxes to the storage room.
"I'm fine, I swear! I wouldn't have come back to work if I wasn't!" Sora giggled.
"You're just stubborn."
"Says you!" He stuck his tongue out playfully.
Riku chuckled before he sighed, "I just... last time, they really roughed you up..."
"It was only small cuts and stuff, I'm okay!"
"They dislocated your arm."
"Well, to be fair, with how I preform and move sometimes, it's probably easy to do that."
"Sor..."
"Okay, okay, I'll be serious." Sora took a deep breath and smiled genuinely, "I'm fine, Riku. I promise. They just kinda yelled and tried to scare me with pictures. But I obviously didn't do it, which is why I'm back!"
Riku smiled and nodded. They got to the storage room and set the boxes down, "Alright. I just want to make sure."
"You get the other boxes! I'll start organizing!"
Riku agreed and left the storage room. Sora began to move boxes around, organizing the contents and the spaces they needed to go. He heard the door open and looked over.
He smirked, "Hello, detectives. Come back for round two?"
"We've actually come here to apologize." Steele said.
"Oh? We both know that's not true." He chuckled, grabbing another box.
"Well, we do have a question, but this is off the record."
Sora turned around, rummaging through the box before stepping towards the racks, "Sure it is~! Alright, go ahead, ask away!"
"Do you have a twin brother?"
Sora stopped in his tracks, turning to face the two detectives.
His face had completely changed.
Before, he always had a smile, a smirk, or a smugness to him. He was a performer, one able to mask whatever he was feeling with perfected ease.
Yet now? Facing the detectives, his face was blank, eyes cold and calculating.
"Pardon?" He asked in a monotone voice, no charm or whimsy or arrogance or anything else to it.
Acker stepped forward, "Do you have a twin brother?"
"...You know, you should learn to not ask questions you don't want the answers to."
Acker grabbed his wrist, Sora dropping the box in his hand. Her eyes and where her hand rested on the brunette's skin began to glow green, "Tell me the truth, do you have a twin brother?"
Sora stared with the same dead and cold expression.
"...No, I do not have a twin brother."
.....She didn't feel a skip in his heart rate. Her eyes and hand glowed blue, indicating the truth.
"...Did you kill Inferno Prime?"
"I did not."
No change in his heart rate, still blue.
She let go, "...Alright then, thank you for your time."
Acker turned to face Steele, the two moving to step outside the room.
Before they could, the door was blocked by a rectangle of pure light. The two turned around to face Sora, who still had a blank face. Before they could do more, they felt themselves being pulled to their knees. Looking down, they saw their own shadows had wrapped around their bodies.
"What the?! Shadows?!" Steele exclaimed.
"You asked me if I had a twin brother."
They looked back up at Sora, watching as the brunette's own shadow rose from the ground, splitting into three silhouettes. Once they had taken the correct form, the shadows disappeared, revealing three people, one with raven black hair, and two blondes.
"I don't. I have three." Sora smirked, "I'm 1/4 of a quad!"
"Let's hurry this up." The blonde dressed in black said, stepping towards the detectives and removing their badges, "Then we can get back to our research."
"Didn't I say we had to be careful?" The other blonde stepped forward as well, "I told you that you were being to wreckless, Vanitas!"
"It's fine, Ventus, we got it handled."
"Barely." Sora huffed, "What if I got roughed up again, huh?! You're lucky Roxas came up with the idea of hiding in my shadow for the rest of the day! These guys are, unfortunately, smart! It could have been bad!
"Yeah, yeah." The black haired man, Vanitas, waved him off, "Well, we're fixing it now." He looked at the blondes, who had the detectives badges on and had taken their keys, wallets, and phone, "You two ready."
"Yep." Ventus reassured, holding his hand out to him and Roxas.
The two detectives watched as the light around them manipulated before the two blondes seemed to... turn into them?
"Ventus is able to manipulate the light to create illusions or reflections of other people." Sora explained, since Acker and Steele stared in awe.
"Come on, Ven." Roxas said, "Let's get to the station, turn in our stuff for the night, and get out."
"See you two at home~!" Ventus called as Roxas opened the door after Sora lowered the barrier, the two leaving.
Once they were gone, Sora lifted the light barrier again as Vanitas cracked his knuckles, "Don't kill them. Take them to Naminé to get their memories altered."
"What? But Sor-"
"If we kill them and their bodies are found, even if cleaned up and shit, Sora Hikari is going to look even more suspicious."
Vanitas sighed dramatically, "I guess that's true..." He walked towards the detectives, "You guys should be grateful you get to still live."
"Fuck you." Steele hissed for them.
Vanitas chuckled, "Hah. You're funny." He snapped, before shadows wrapped completely around the detectives, the two being dragged down. Vanitas turned to face Sora, "Sorry for the trouble!"
"It's one strand of hair they found. That could be written off as anything." Sora waved it off, "Just means we need to lay low for a bit."
"It's just annoying!" He whined.
"I know, but we'll find the bastard who killed mom and dad. We're so close." Sora took a deep breath and put on a bright smile, "Now, if you'll excuse me, Sora Hikari has a performance to give~!"
"Yeah, yeah, see you at home." Vanitas chuckled, sinking into the shadows.
Once he was gone, Sora lowered the light barrier and continued moving boxes. Just in time too, as Riku came through the door, looking concerned.
"Sor, you okay?"
"Huh?"
"I saw those detectives walking back to their car! I tried to stop them and ask what the fuck they were doing, but they completely ignored me and sped off. Are you-?"
"Oh, I'm fine!" Sora reassured, "They just came by to give me a heartfelt apology!"
Riku raised an eyebrow, "Seriously...?"
"Well, that's what they said and did! Not sure I believe them, but that was all that happened!"
Riku sighed, "Okay, well... that's good, at least."
"Come on, let's continue!"

Guys, I saw the finale in theaters on June 4th, y'all have NO IDEA how hard it was to stop myself from spoilers and shit!!!

Been replaying Kingdom Hearts, here's a silly little AU where these guys are quadruplets.
Will draw more of them later, just needed to test out the designs/how I draw them.
also, don't mind Vanitas's jacket, I fucked up and edited it on my iPad sooooo ye
Close Ups

Idea where an omega had a very weak scent to them and can't really purr or anything like that.
Until they meet an alpha who later becomes their mate. One day, after years of the two dating, they're cuddling and the omega starts to purr for the first time ever.
