Before the Wall Masterlist
Five hundred years before Feyre Archeron is born, the world is much different from the one she lives in. Most humans are slaves, seen as little more than animals by the ruling Fae. There is no chance for escape, of freedom.
But things are changing. Humans are growing restless, talks of rebellion spread. Meanwhile, some Fae territories are beginning to consider the possible gain of War. All it takes is one spark and everything will explode.
In a few months, the War will begin. In seven years, the Wall will go up, permanently dividing humans and Fae. But before that, friendships will be formed, love will grow and die - and the world will be forever changed.
This is the story of the War, as it might have been (canon-compliant and I will keep OCs to a minimum edit: still canon-compliant, but mostly as a challenge to myself if I can get the mess that is canon to make sense). This story will focus on Miryam, Jurian and Drakon through the seven years of the War, but Rhys, Mor, Cassian and Azriel will each play major roles (edit: it turns out Azriel and Cassian do NOT play major roles after all. And I started out with a Rhys point of view, but I ditched that after ten chapters or so because I stopped liking him.). There will also be guest appearances from everybody else who was around at the time (Amren, Nephelle, Andromache, Helion, Beron, Amarantha and all the others).
