Upload is amazing. it’s not perfect, it can be a little silly for its own good sometimes and at times seems to have more going on than it can handle but in the end it all comes together in the best way. i need a season 2. everyone should watch it!

You gotta marry anybody. You marry someone like Jack Pearson. Dude ran back into a house almost completely engulfed in fire, saved the dog, and on his way out grabbed shit that he thought was important and probably irreplaceable.

one thing i like about this is us is it doesnt always go for the cliche emotional scenes? like they could’ve showed a dramatic resuscitation scene, but they didn’t. i feel like they depict real life better by avoiding dramatics like that. like of course rebecca doesn’t think jack is on death’s door and went to get a candy bar instead of refusing to leave his side, anyone else would’ve done the same. death isn’t like the movies, and we aren’t always there to witness it. that, i think, leaves a bigger impact than the cliche scene that we probably expected.
