first of all thank you so much 😭😭😭 I really appreciate my fans and I actually saw you going through a lot of my posts and then eventually following me so I’m really grateful :D I tend to doubt myself a lot with my art and it’s people like you that give me reassurance to keep drawing :))

Second of all, to answer your question:

I’m going to use some fanart I made of @laranjazz ‘s OC as an example.

For reference, I also sometimes take pictures of myself, as if the shading looks unrealistic it’s usually because it is. The more reference in art, the better!!

I'm way better at traditional art, so trying to break into digital is hard 😅 I definitely struggle with shading the most, so the guide is much appreciated!! I'll definitely be trying it later :3
