Why Perrault doesn't go to Madame Ghede for advice? And why does he tell Cinders that he has no-one else to talk to besides Cinders herself?

I want to know the story behind that one.

I don't quite understand.

Why can't Perrault train guards/work for the army. He is the First Sword of the Kingdom.

It doesn't matter? Really?

Can Prince (and the army) afford losing such a great solider? Even in our times we need capable people in our countries armies. Come on!

So Prince just wanted to put Perrault under pressure? Yes, probably.

Because without that Perrault would never choose to become Master Spy? Yes, probably.

So Prince manipulates his so-called friends?

But when Perrault disaccords can't Prince let him work for an army?

I don't know if any of this makes sense anymore. I just have a strong feeling that this whole situation is unfair and there are ways to prevent Perrault from being heartbroken.

I think I will have to come to terms with it.

Everything is connected

I was just looking through some Solstice game files on my computer and I found a picture of Shady character from Cinders behind cell's bars in Guardhouse.

(I'm not sharing it because I'm not sure if it's legal ^^;;)

Thank you Moacube for this easter egg.

I don't think it's logical that he is in there.

But my little cinders-loving heart screamed out with joy.

Furthermore, I consider that Perrault deserves better.

Hey, but really...

Can Perrault have at least one happy-without-a-twist ending?

Where he is not Cinders' lover (this ending is so heartbreaking)

Where Cinders is not dead (duh)

Where he doesn't lose control over his right hand

Storywriters are so cruel -

Soilder's r.i.g.h.t hand

And the Traveler ending is not happy, because... just no

It doesn't feel right

(anyone else? no? just me?)

Also... in this ending Cinders is abadoning her life, her hometown, her family, Tobias... everything.

It is not a happy ending. Running away. It's just a sign of desperation. Not being able to solve one's problems. It's easiest to just run away and don't have to work on them.

But more importantly it's just sad.

I just don't know anymore...
