Hello everyone ! Please brace yourselves for a long but thoughtful description, because we need to talk ! I love this song to no end, I often listen to this to feel better when I down, or and when I’m animating. The title’s « Do the Conga » by Gloria Estefan ! All the animals gotta learn this strange but addicting dance created by birds (and maybe fruits ?) Anyway, I really hope you’ll like this one and that it will make you smile, I put lots of love inside! Maybe the beginning will remind you of one of my previous works, and if so, you guessed right, because it originated from a short animation I created and uploaded to my Youtube channel some years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOoJGtu9FnI&ab_channel=kekeflipnote Many people liked it and commented, and I wasn’t worried at all … Until a viewer warned me that it had been reposted on Instagram, cropped, without any credit and the new reposter claiming it as their own with an ugly watermark of their making. At first I was simply disappointed, but thought that if I just told the reposter to delete it, everything would be solved; sadly I do not have an Instagram account. A week later the post had 50,000 likes and the stolen edit of my animation also got uploaded on Facebook, gaining something like 6 million views there, still with no credit! Can you imagine how frustrated I was ?! I mean …What the fox ! I worked so hard, had so much fun, and the thought of someone just taking all of that, editing it to delete my name and getting billions of views to promote their own channel made me sick. I’d always feared for this to happen to me, I saw the pain it caused to many of the great artists I follow when they were faced with such issues, so yes, going through that hurt a lot. When my family, friends and fans tell me that my animations are uploaded somewhere on the internet with 19 million views and no credit… it breaks my heart. Surely I could never expect such exposure on my own lil YouTube channel! I think the funniest thing (sarcasm here) is that when I confronted the person who originally stole my video, they had the nerve to lie to my face and pretend they created the animation. Needless to say, I spat my soda on the screen… The lack of basic human decency some people have is astonishing. I decided to make them sweat a little bit and asked them to show me their other works if they really were the original creator, or to animate something… of course the were quick to block me. A few days ago, when I logged into Facebook and Tumblr, I noticed I had many messages in both my inboxes. I thought that of course it was about a new theft of my work… but actually these messages brought good news. Apparently, some of you guys got together to mass report the channel that stole my work, and it had finally been deleted. I was grateful for my audience standing up for me like that, and glad that this channel (that had gathered 2 millions viewers by only uploading stolen content) finally got banned. It happened again after all that, and you guys always stood up to mass-report the thieves, again and again. Thank you so much for your hard work, thanks to you all I’m regaining my faith in humanity! I’ll always be here to talk if you send me a message, I reply to everyone ! I pledge to always stay kind, the internet will never change who I am, and I will always try not to lose my temper, even toward thieves (though if I happen to meet them in real life you can be damn sure we’ll have a looong talk). I just think that a lot of artists aren’t being respected enough, as creators, and as humans who hurt when their work is being taken away without permission. Do thieves think of that when they steal our work? I don’t think so. Thankfully fans are always here to support us and as I said before I am forever grateful for you all. My followers count isn’t a number to me, it’s people, with dreams, hearts, and I’m glad my work can contribute to making your life a bit brighter when you’re in need of motivation, as much as you’re all here for me when I’m faced with adversity. I hope the thieves will stop stealing my work, and I hope to keep seeing you guys around for a long time from now on. One can dream! I apologize for that hella long description, I just never had the time to address all of that stuff since it began in March, as I was too busy with college… By the way ! Happy World Turtle Day!

Turtles have been on this planet for over 200 million years. However, in a relatively short time (since the rise of humans) they have become threatened – 44% of known turtle species are officially considered critically endangered or vulnerable to extinction.

Today, 23 May, is World Turtle Day. We’ve dived in to The New Encyclopedia of Reptiles and Amphibians and discovered some amazing facts about these ancient creatures – what’s your favorite fact about turtles from the five below?

A turtle’s armor shell is unique in the animal kingdom, made of two parts (the back and front) it generally comprises around 50-60 bones.

Most adult turtles and tortoises have a shell length of at least 13cm (5in). The world’s smallest species are the Speckled cape tortoise, Flattened musk turtle, and Bog turtle, whereas the largest living turtle is the Leatherback seaturtle, whose shell reaches up to 244cm (96in).

Although turtles are slow on land, due to their massive shells, when they enter the water they can reach speeds of over 30km/hour (18.6mph).

Some species of turtles migrate over 4,500km (that’s 2,800 miles) to make their nests – which is like travelling the length of the United Kingdom 4.5 times. Whereas others have nesting frenzies, when over 200,000 females nest on the same small beach over two days.

Some aquatic species of turtles don’t just breathe using their lungs – some can also respire through their skin, the lining of the throat, and through thin-walled sacs, or bursae, in the cloaca.

At the Miscast Gala Monday night, Luca Padovan, Joshua Colley, and Douglas Baldeo, put their own twist on "The Schuyler Sisters." Work!

MCC Theater’s annual Miscast Gala features Broadway stars performing musical numbers associated with roles they would never get cast in. This year’s event, which honored MCC alum Marisa Tomei, was held Monday night at the Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center. Grease: Live’s Aaron Tveit tackled the Rent duet “Take Me or Leave Me” with She Loves Me star Gavin Creel; The Color Purple’s Cynthia Erivo slayed “A Piece of Sky” from Yentl; and Kimmy Schmidt breakout Tituss Burgess lured his boss Tina Fey onstage for a performance of “You’re Nothing Without Me” from City of Angels. But one of the most memorable performances was the one that opened the show:School of Rock’s Luca Padovan, Les Misérables’ Joshua Colley, and Kinky Boots’ Douglas Baldeo took on Hamilton’s “The Schuyler Sisters,” with an assist from On Your Feet star Ana Villafañe as Aaron Burr.
