Austin and I got married this summer! On June 18 we had a small ceremony with more cameras than people present. This is a still from the wide shot I set up beforehand. We are so happy to be officially hitched!

Going up or coming down? These past few weeks have been a roller coaster for my husband and myself. We were married June 18, and on June 21st he had a craniotomy to remove the cavernous malformation deep in his brain. It was on his language center, and recovery has been rough on him. His memory and comprehension comes and goes, but we are in week 3 of an 8 week recovery period so this is to be expected. It's just extremely hard to cope with for us both, he wants to help me but can only do so much and I'm taking care of him, our pets and my work. Despite all of this we are stronger together and we can make it through anything! The surgery was performed at Emory University, and during our several day stay there I did manage to get out and take some photos around campus. More coming soon.
