they hire a crew. sam stays in the ship, waiting to be safe.

there’s a traitor among their ranks. someone turns on them and reveals their location—to both sides. bowie, perhaps, in the end, dies for xer prince. maybe the traitor wins. maybe the traitor thinks they’re winning.

maybe their death is the first of many.

maybe that starts the war.
