Ace let out a huge ass snore in response before eventually waking up with a surprise jolt, face covered in mash potatoes, “…I fell asleep.”

Circa handed him a cloth to wipe his face, still rather surprised from his sudden spurt back to life. “..You do that often?”

Crocodile looked down at his drink, taking note of the shakiness in the girl’s voice.  His eyes slowly darted up to meet her, studying her face.  He could tell she was nervous, he could tell she knew who he was, and he was silently pleased that he was still able to intimidate her.

“Speak with a more firm tone, girl.”

Did he just threaten her? She hadn’t even done anything! The performer frowned a little, crouching down to grab her tray, and stood back up to get a good look at him. It would be a good story to tell the rest of the performers later... And though she was frightened, her spunky attitude seemed to have her speaking before she had time enough to even think. A genetic trait, it seemed.

“Why would I tell anyone!?! I’m not that stupid!!”

Shit.. Did she just talk back to him? She stopped herself and tried to save as best she could, clearing her throat.

“Uh.. Ringling Island is a neutral party, sir. Even if I did tell no one has any rights to touch you here... I’M NOT TELLING!! But just so you know!”

She did in fact recognize him. Who wouldn’t if they payed any attention to the papers? Circa glanced to the floor and then back up at him, accidentally dropping her serving tray to the wooden floor.

“Shit--” She stopped herself and looked to him, still a little frightened but did her best to do what he asked.

“Would you like anything else, sir?”
