Hobby writer of fanficātypically oneshots of the angsty, introspective kind. If you can't find a certain fic of mine, do not fear; I anon my fics freely, and my nsfw and rpf fics are only available to registered ao3 users.
Kenjirou liked to think he did pretty well for himself. It was his second year of university. He and Eita had moved in together a little over a year ago; theoretically, they should be used to Kenjirou's tight schedule by now. Theoretically.
Eita, though, seemed to have a harder time getting used to it, claiming he was literally suffering. Oh my god. Why aren't you? Don't you love me anymore? Is that it? Hey! Kenjirou, don't walk off while I'm talking to youāhey!
So, come the first Friday evening of the new term, Kenjirou wasn't at all surprised to find Eita camping on the sofa of their living room, screaming his name as soon as he opened the door like a dog waiting for its owner to return.
Eita has some trouble handling their time apart after spending the entirety of summer glued to each other. Kenjirou definitely does not relate.
Was showing oomf how to anon works on ao3 yesterday, and I didn't think it would send out an email since the fic was only anon for like a minute before I changed it back. Sorry for the ones who keep receiving emails from me bc I'm indecisive, but yesterday was an honest mistake FR. Let me make it up to you soon with this banger semishira fic I'm cooking up, which currently sits at 17.5k words, and I'm not even done with the outline yet

āMiracles are wonderful things,ā Semi slowly began.
Gone from his voice was the anger from before; it was replaced by a soft murmur, reminiscent of the warm melody heād hummed earlier. Kenjirou liked him like this. Liked the way Semiās voice, usually deep and rough, could dip even lower, turning unbelievably gentle like a breeze of spring after winter. He adored it.
Even if none of that softness had ever been meant for him.
An overheard conversation in Shiratorizawa's locker room might just change Kenjirou's perception of Semi Eita.

Hi, I am back to my regular bullshit (SemiShira). This is a very short oneshot (0,9k), which was supposed to be part of a 5+1 fic, but since I am very busy right now, I decided to just write out this scene and **perhaps **write out the rest some other time.Ā Itās been a while since Iāve written them, but itās still so enjoyable to me after all these years. I missed them a lot, and I still love them so much; my drafts are full of them right now, but I just donāt have the time to seriously edit/finish my drafts...

[Not Leopika]
A hollanov soulmates AU except Shane is not aware of this.
While I was studying and writing papers for uni, I started watching Heated Rivalry and just had to write something for them. I've also been watching a lot of No, I'm Not a Human playthroughs, which also inspired me a lot, so maybe I might write something little for that fandom, too.
I also swear I've been working on Everything with You. It will update soon. Trust.

surprise, surprise. out of the multitude of leopika fic ideas i wanted to write besides EwY, this one somehow made it onto the google doc first.Ā
As I've promised, here are the omitted Chapter 3 scenes. I've also added some other notes about the chapter that I wanted to share (:
1. First and Foremost, the Alternate Version of the Confrontation Scene
(unedited)
āNo, it isnāt,ā Kurapika cut in, acidly. He hated asking about this because he knew Leorio would just laugh it off again. āClasses are over. You arenāt required to be here anymore, but you are. Why?ā
āKillua went crying on his knees and begged me,ā Leorio mockingly drawled, smiling like an asshole. He snorted at Kurapikaās hollow face, then humorlessly scoffed. āWhat do you think? Iām here because I wanted to help.ā
āBut you donāt even like helping people.ā
āSays who?ā
āYou did. You said you only volunteer at the infirmary because it would look good on your college application.ā
āYeah. But I never said I hated it there. Did I?ā
āNo. It was the way you said it,ā Kurapika said, feeling stupid for saying those cliche words, but more words spilled out of him before he could think of stopping himself. āYou said it like some self-serving asshole. Like you couldnāt care less about what you do or the people youāre supposed to care for. You act like volunteering is the most painful thing in the world and doing it bothers you.āĀ
Leorioās lips were set in a hard line. āI do need it for my CV,ā he slowly said, voice cautious like talking to a frightened animal. āBut that doesn't mean I hate it there. Or that I donāt care about what I do. Cause then I wouldnāt be here at all.ā Kurapikaās eyes dropped to the ground at those words. āBut thatās not what you actually want to hear.ā
He sharply looked up. āWhat?ā
āYou heard me,ā Leorio retorted, slowly stalking towards Kurapika as if wanting to corner him in every possible sense. āYou donāt want to know why Iām doing this. You want to know why Iām doing this for you.āĀ
Kurapika froze, heart stopping like it had been knocked off its axis, but he couldnāt do anything to fix it because Leorio was more than happy to knock it off all over again.
āThis isnāt about me at all, isnāt it? This is all about you,ā Leorio accusingly said, staring him down with dark, unkind eyes. āYou think Iām bothered by you specifically. Well, guess what?ā He gave a humorless laugh. āI have to deal with annoying little shits like you all the damn time and youāā A finger pointed at Kurapika, making him cower. āare nothing special.āĀ
Heart stuck in his throat, Kurapika gaped like dumb fish. āIām not?ā was the dumb fishās only response.
āYou wish,ā Leorio said with a scoff. āDo you think youāre the only one who comes to the infirmary looking like this?āĀ
The question was obviously meant to be rhetoric, but feeling too strung to stop himself, Kurapika frowningly answered it anyway, āIām not so ignorant.āĀ
āGood!ā Leorio mockingly beamed at him, then his face twisted downward, taking a serious edge once more. āCause you arenāt the worst there is. So donāt get your panties in a twist cause Iām not bothered by you specifically.ā
The words slowly but surely sank in like heavy rocks. Kurapika sucked in a harsh breath, heart skipping a beat when he was struck by the implications behind them.
āI hope that answers your question.āĀ
Eyes firmly set on the ground, Kurapika dully nodded, feeling light-hearted yet hollow chested at the same time. His voice was hoarse, āIt does. Thank you.āĀ
āGood.ā Leorio looked incredibly proud of himself like he had accomplished the impossibleā maybe he did. He ran a hand through his hair, then peered down at Kurapika with a lazy, self-satisfied smile stirring on his lips. āSo, will ya get on my back now?ā
Kurapika sighed but he obliged without a fight.
This actually was the OG scene, and yup, the confrontation wasn't supposed to be crazy serious at all. Honestly, I'm actually kind of sad that this version didn't make it into the fic because it's fun BUT for many, many reasons, it just didn't feel right.
I'm confident I made the right decision choosing the other scene, but I still wanted to share this version with you (:
2. Extended Fighting Scene
The fighting scene was supposed to be a little bit longer, but I decided to shorten it for word count reasons.

Hissing, Omokage drew his arm back with incredible force, sending Kurapika flying on his back onto the cold, wet ground. Limbs splayed ham-handedly like a dropped doll, Kurapikaās chest heaved from the suddenness of the recent blow. He coughed blood onto the withered grass, painting grey-ish brown with red. His head spun when all the recent exertion slowly caught up to his body, pain registering slowly. The wide-spread ache of his back, the flashing heat on his cheekbone. A split mouth. The loud ringing in his ears.Ā
Kurapika glared up at his assailant in accusation.Ā
A callous edge washed over Omokageās pale visage, regarding Kurapika with the heartless detachment of a mechanic looking at a failing machine. āI prefer you like this. Lying uselessly on your back like the worthless bitch you were meant to be.āĀ
āYou odious waste ofāā Kurapika gasped in agony at the sudden, sharp throb at his sides, curling himself into a pitiful ball.
Crouching near his face, Omokageās voice was uncannily soft, almost chiding, āLook at what you make me do.ā Kurapika snarled when an icy hand stroked across his face, almost lovingly before it yanked the back of his head in a cruel grip. āIf only you had listenedāā
Kurapika promptly spat in his face.Ā
Omokage recoiled back, fluttering his lashes in irritated confusion as if he couldnāt believe how Kurapika dared to do such a vile thing to him. Regaining his composure, Omokageās face pulled into an ugly sneer, eyes burning with hatred. Kurapika sucked in a harsh breath. He stabilized himself on an arm, preparing himself to block another round of assault.
But nothing came.
Instead, Omokage violently flinched away from him, taking two steps back on unsteady feet. He desperately grasped at his collar with flailing hands, trying to pull it down. With a vicious growl, he planted a steady foot to the ground and took a powerful step forward with the other oneā
only to immediately stagger back another two steps.Ā
I was also kind of worried that Kurapika was fighting like a girl (lowk he was), but looking back, this honestly could've been kept...
3. Metaphors, Similes and More Metaphors and Similes
I genuinely reached flow state when I was drafting the fight scene, and at some point, kinda unconciously went ham using metaphors and similes. I ended up cutting out a lot of them because they were quite .. excessive. Also who am I? Shakespeare?
Anyways here are some of my favourites that were cut:
i.
Omokageās archaic figure resembled that of a menacing vampire. His unreadable visage looked down at Kurapika with his hands behind his back like some mighty general appraising a new soldier.
ii.
A callous edge washed over Omokageās pale visage, regarding Kurapika with the heartless detachment of a mechanic looking at a failing machine.

It was futile. Like a puppet wanting to disobey the puppeteer.Ā
HxH movie reference, but unfortunately, it's just very out of place in the actual scene.
4. Random
I googled how to describe pain and got suggestions for suicide prevention hotlines LOL
After I wrote the first two introduction scenes with Killua, Gon and Omokage, I procastinated the fighting scene so hard that an entire month passed between writing them. During that time, my writing style changed so much that I had to edit the introduction scenes to literal oblivion for them to blend in with the fighting scene's writing ... writing is a prison.
Writing the fighting scene didn't actually end up being that bad, and it was actually quite fun! ... the real villain all along was the confrontation scene, which took me about three weekends and two all-nighters... but all in all, I'm very happy with how this chapter came out !
_____
Anyway, I haven't been writing since publishing the chapter because it took a lot of time and power out of me. I'm planning to get back on it this weekend, however.
Since the OG Chapter 3 was split, the major scenes for Chapter 4 are already written and only need to be edited. However, I wanted to do some light drafting for Chapter 5 before seriously working on Chapter 4.
I also took the time to edit the first two chapters! I generally go in and edit errors when I encounter them, so if you see the word count fluctating every now and then, just mind your business,,, please. haha.
I've been thinking a lot about Alpha Leorio trying to court Beta Kurapika like an Omega and Kurapika just going ??? and he can't tell if Leorio is being serious, or if he's just trying to make fun of him because he is obviously a Beta; he looks like a Beta, acts like a Beta and especially smells like a Beta.
And yeah okay it might be just his own insecurities talking but why would some Alpha like Leorio be interested in a plain Beta like him?
Also Leorio coming to the horrifiying conclusion that he can't just flaunt his Alpha scent to win Kurapika over??? .... yeah.
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
took me long, but she's finally here! the OG WIP for ch.3 currently sits at over 13k words, so I decided to split it cause else it probably would've taken me another week or two... or maybe three before finally being finished.
Leopika Nerve (2016) AU because I saw an edit and it took me back to 2016, and of course, I had to make it about leopika somehow
... something something Leorio reluctantly joining the game for quick money... something something Kurapika who has played the game before but joined it again to be freed from the phantom troupes grasp... something something Leorio is offered 10k Jenny from an anonymous donor if he, in 10 minutes, succesfully convinces the infamous yet mysterious blond to let him help win this year's game ... something somethign LEAVE ME ALONE IM ALREADY COMMITTED TO A FANFIC
Wink wonk, something's about to happen (;
This chapter was supposed to come out last weekend, but univeristy has started again and is, quite frankly, beating my bum. I am also rewatching hxh 1999 (again), so there's that. I hope to be finished by next weekend.
Leorio downloading a dating app for the first time, and he doesn't connect with anyone; most conversations (if people even bother responding at all) are pretty stale, never going beyond a 'hello. how are you? what's your name? and what do you do?'.
But then Leorio matches with Kurapika. He wouldn't say they connect immediately; at first, Kurapika would respond only once a day. But then Leorio somehow guesses he was a teacher just from his pictures alone. That has Kurapika's attention in a blink. In turn, like some sick-form of appreciation, Kurapika tells Leorio he looks dead inside in his pitcures. Leorio doesn't mind. He was a med student after all.
Leorio and Kurapika start texting now. Real texting. Somewhere along the line, Leorio guessed he must be esoteric. Someone into occult. He was right. They start talking about Astrology. Kurapika never directly tells him if they are an astrological match. Leorio tries searching for answers online on his own but never finds a clear, concise one that could be summed up to either 'yes' or 'no'.
Tarot is brought up. Leorio asks Kurapika if he could give him a reading. Kurapika agrees. They set a date.
They meet on a beautiful summer day in june, meeting halfway on the city's famous bridge. They take a walk around the lake. Kurapika shows him his favourite hole in the wall japanese restaurant. They talk about anything, everything and nothing at all.
It wasn't until it was time for Kurapika to go that they had noticed Kurapika had never read Leorio's cards. Kurapika gives Leorio a quick reading. Leorio asks who he would marry. Kurapika draws the 'Queen of Wands'. He says Leorio is destined to marry someone firy, passionate and confident. Leorio teases and says 'so someone like you?'. Kurapika just rolls his eyes with a smile.
When they part, they both look back at the same time.
Leorio goes home with a smile that day. Perfect. The date was perfect.
It wasn't until he was home that he notced that Kurapika had blocked him on the dating app.
