What does the Gallifreyan on ____ say?
Probably the most frequently asked question when it comes to Gallifreyan. The standard answer goes something like this: “If it’s from the BBC chances are it means nothing and is just there to look pretty”. Now don’t get excited, this is still true, but there is a little more to it, so here’s the full answer (still probably not the one you were hoping for).

I am trying to translate this, I thought it said “I love you”. However, after some research I no lover think that is true. Please Help?!
Sorry to disappoint, but I can't tell. Actually, I'm not sure it's meant to say anything at all. I think it was probably just made to look cool. Where did you get it, and what made you think it said "I love you"?
hey i’m really sorry but could you just let me know if this is ‘fantastic’ or if it’s wrong? i want it tattoo’d and keep finding different ones!
No need to be sorry! :) Yes, this does say fantastic.
Hi, I got a few people to translate “you are what you love not who loves you” and I’m getting a tattoo in a few weeks time so I just want another opinion on which one you think I should get that’s most accurate. Thank you!
I'm actually really glad you sent me this, because trying to translate the black-and-white one made me realize there have been some new letters added to the alphabet I didn't even know about.
At first glance, both of these appeared to have mistakes. After updating my knowledge, I see that the first one is not only completely accurate, but was made by someone who really knows what they're doing. The second one, on the other hand, has quite a few mistakes in it and I would not recommend tattooing it on yourself. Go with the black-and-white one :)
You were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And you know what? So was I.

I want to make sure that this actually says patience. I believe it does but it is going to be a tattoo so I wanted to make sure.
It’s close, but just the slightest bit off. Because there’s no C in Gallifreyan, what is should say is “patiense”, but it actually says “patienke”. It looks like you did this in the translator, and substituted with a K rather than an S, so it should be an easy fix. If you typed in “patiense” and this is what you got, you may want to talk to Loren Sherman about it so he can fix the error.
i was bored. here’s one not from the translator

This is my first Sirkle design. It’s supposed to be my Hungarian name. I’m hoping you’ll give me some feedback. :) Some of my edges are a bit broken, I made it in Photoshop.
This is very good. The only thing you're missing is a complete circle surrounding the whole thing. None of the letters have mistakes. Originally I was a little confused why the vowels had lines crossing them, but I think you did that to show the accents? I don't know if you came up with that yourself or if someone told you to do that, but it's very clever and effective. I've never seen it done before but I like it. Great job! :)

How about now?
Great, it works now! Okay, so you haven't said what you're trying to write here, but what I'm getting is "Dane". If that's what you're going for, then it's definitely a little rough but it's a good start. The only thing really wrong is the D should not have a line on it. If a line begins/ends on a letter it is technically modifying it even with the dots there, so you've really got sort of a cross between a D and a G. Also, the A should not be actually touching the circle, it should be clearly outside of it. Other than that you might just want to adjust the sizes of your vowels vs. consonants so you can tell the difference. Overall, good job, no need to get frustrated! :)
