Planting the Seeds with a Gust of Wind || C.A.P. and Chunji

  “Well, you’ve got to learn to multitask!” Chunji winked, knowing his answer really wouldn’t be that helpful, but honestly, Minsoo had a cute little crush and he expected them to still focus on that? No way. Cyclones were cool and all, but the elder of the two had all of his life ahead of him to perfect his tricks with them, where someone could lose their romantic chance with a crush in a heartbeat if something went wrong. Something like paying their ability more attention than their new potential-beaux. But really; he saw no reason to refer to it as “potential” when someone would be an idiot to pass up a chance with someone like CAP. The brunet wasn’t his type at all, but he could acknowledge how good of boyfriend material his friend was.

Chunji swatted lightly at him, laughing with a loud boast of, “I’m fine! Really! It hurts my pride more than anything else!” His eyes glowed lightly, the shapeshifter feeling a warm rush of affection for his friend. If Minsoo wasn’t careful, he’d be hugging him soon. “And who should be worrying?! If you snore in your sleep, you might blow everyone away!” He couldn’t resist teasing, though he knew the other’s power didn’t work like that.

But when the focus switched back to CAP’s crush, his whole body tensed up and he stopped breathing, fearful to miss even a second of this. Chunji shouldn’t have felt so out of place in a girl’s body; he acted like one when something like this came up. “Please!” He argued, “Why go for me when you and your muscles are worth two?” He grinned widely, unable to help but continue to tease his friend in his excitement, as he mentally warmed up his gaydar. If this could lead to his romantic of a best friend finding someone, he was ready to get as dirty as he needed to be.

Then the world was thrown upside down, changing how he would wind up using the word ‘dirty’ in a heartbeat.

“Niel?” Chunji repeated dumbly, unable to process. It had to be another one, right? That kid couldn’t be CAP’s type… But it all fit, and he knew exactly why the brunet would like the shy boy so much. Stomach clenching as he imagined poor, innocent Niel being taken advantage of by his ruffian of a best friend, he had to fight off the sour look that threatened to come over his face. “I-Is he?” The shapeshifter forced out, his smile coming much more naturally, though. “I guess I haven’t seen him around, then?” Throwing in a corny joke was the best way to divert his true feelings, since Minsoo was likely used to that. But shit. Yeah, he was perfect… But what if he hurt that poor sweetie? Chunji couldn’t allow it.

“I um,” He cleared his throat, happy to change the subject, “Yeah, I’ll talk to him for you, man… But my news…” Chunji swallowed nervously, and shook his head, “Uh, well, it’s about a girl?” He wasn’t sure why he twisted his news, and he didn’t know at all where he was going with that. Shit. Why did it have to be Niel?! Now he couldn’t seem to focus on anything.

CAP laughed a little. "Multi tasking isn't easy you know." he laughed, he didn't mind being teased. He was already multi-tasking he was trying to spin cyclones and think about Niel at the same time. Although, he would say that while he was thinking about Niel he was trying to multi-task. He liked the way that Niel made all of his thoughts rose tinted, he liked this feeling as well as hated it because there was something kind of pointless about it. Wanting someone but not being brave enough to say anything. 

Minsoo laughed, "I'll make sure I sleep facing your tent then" he teased laughing at the image of his power working like that. "Although you should probably feel bad for my tent mates, if I have a night mare winds wrap around me, so it could be a disturbance really." CAP shrugged, there was nothing he could do about it. Everyone's power had a draw back, it was only natural like any quality any human being had there was always going to be a draw back. His was his power could be triggered by emotions that he was feeling subconsciously. 

"Really Chunji, you're going to play that one are you?" CAP rolled his eyes. "You're fucking sexy. When you're you... not so much as her because I don't go for chicks," CAP rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, hoping that Chunji wouldn't think it was CAP's creepy way of coming onto him - although CAP wasn't exactly known for being awesome at flirting. - CAP was into romantics, but it was getting to the relationship so he could be romantic that was the problem. He just couldn't ask someone to date him. It came out wrong and he generally ended up saying I like you... or I could be joking. because that line never failed (it mostly always failed). 

CAP sensed something was a little off, but he didn't press it. "Mhm, Niel." He nodded like an excited puppy. "You'll love him when you meet him, he's got this, such amazing quality to his personality." CAP babbled like some teenage girl with some crush on a pop-star. A slight side effect of him falling for someone. He laughed a little a the corny pun. "Shame you don't know him..." CAP sighed "I could do with an undercover spy... you know how shit my gaydar is." CAP joked. 

"About a girl?" CAP asked interested in what his best friend had to say, he wanted to know what was so interesting about the girl that Chunji needed to tell him. "You haven't got a girl pregnant have you?" CAP asked half-teasing. He was trying to get the atmosphere back to completely relaxed because he hated being tense around Chunji.

Spinning in Circles| CAP && ?? [OPEN]

It was the first time in a while that CAP was away from Niel, because he wanted to practice his finale and it wasn't safe to practice that around Niel. He did not want the boy in any way getting hurt, he was not going to allow that to happen, so until he learnt to control the finale he promised himself he would not pose a risk to Niel's life - or anyone else's -. CAP breathed out slowly as he started off making small cyclones, carefully making shapes and then merging them into two larger cyclones. 

He smiled, this was the bit he liked doing, the control was easier, each hand controlling one of the cyclones, it was a drain on him physically but he loved it. He smiled as they began to pick up speed and power, the wind blowing around him intensified. He smiled at he felt the air interweaving like a cyclone around him, a sensation he'd been getting since he could remember - having been born with his power. His mom had told him that he was dangerous when he was a kid and had a tantrum - but that it was ok because she was a wind controller so could manage it - 

CAP began powering up, he needed to draw on all his power for the final move, the merging of the two cyclones, he'd never completed it without assistance, because he would always end up weakening one of the two cyclones. He was today, however, determined to complete a merge without weakening a cyclone. He held his hands steady as he counted his breath making sure it was at a controlled rate as he slowly moved the cyclones together. He smiled at they began blending into one another, slowly becoming one huge cyclone. 

And then CAP passed out, the cyclone gone in an instant, his body strewn across the ground, he was breathing, but his breath was light. He was unconscious although aware of what was going on. The air had stilled, and the only sound was a person running over and shouting something that CAP couldn't hear well from his state. He murmured a bit before finally coming round, and looking at the person who'd found him.

A Mother's Touch| Self

She'd just hugged him and told him that he had to bring home a nice boy. Minsoo smiled to himself, thinking of what his mom would think about Niel, she'd love him, well she'd love him because he did but she'd also be able to see what Minsoo saw in him. She'd be able to see what CAP knew Niel struggled to see. The part of him that was so beautiful, it wasn't physical, it was just something about him on the inside that wass so beautiful it was blinding. 

Minsoo smiled to himself and then moved to lay back on the grass, he smiled as he looked up the sky. She'd love Niel - his mother - she'd insist on trying to feed the boy up. Minsoo's hand went to his necklace, holding the two rings on it tightly in his hand. He moved to hold it over his heart, he wondered if his family thought about him, travelling the world and sharing his talent. He thought about his sisters and his parents, he wondered if his oldest sister had married yet, and if his younger older sister was coping as a single mom. 

He wondered if they told his nephew about him, or if his nephew had any powers.He breathed out slowly, looking up at the clouds and remembering when he used to do this with his mother. Except she'd manipulate the wind to change the patterns in the clouds, Minsoo sometimes wished he could do things that were delicate like that, but he could turn a calm sky into a cyclone, not that he was complaining it was a great power to have. He loved his power. 

Minsoo breathed slowly, he smiled at the sky, he would always be under the same sky as his mom. He still missed the way she knew exactly what to do when it came to matter of the heart. Today was her birthday, Minsoo smiled sadly thinking how she'd have the whole family round, celebrating and yet again for the fifth year in a row he was not going to be at home, he was not going to call, he was not going to email. He was just going to be off living his life.

White (As Snow) Day| Minsoo && Niel

At the praise, Niel perked up, lips curving into a proud smile. He was never proud of anything he’d done, but a compliment from CAP went a long way with him. “You really think so?” He asked, looking up at the older boy. He’d worked a lot on it, mostly when he wasn’t running around helping other people or setting up things. That along with Minsoo’s encouragement was what got him as far as he had come in such a small amount of time. 

Then it happened and it felt like the world had stopped turning just for him. The brush of lips had him surprised and a thousand thoughts rushed though his mind. Was he good enough for the older boy? He certainly didn’t think so, but as the seconds went, his thoughts were drowned out by more favourable ones. Mostly about how Minsoo’s lips felt against his own and that he was happy his first kiss went to someone he actually liked.

He held onto CAPs hand as his own was taken, almost as though he’d float away if he didn’t have something to anchor him in place and he silently wondered if this was how Taemin felt a lot of the time. But then they were parting and the world sped up again, the surroundings less blurry though his eyes remained on Minsoo, never once looking away from the man.

He couldn’t really think about what Minsoo was saying to him, but because his eyes were wide and there was a very obvious blush on his cheeks, he could guess there was an apology in there of some sort. “Hyung” He started, stepping closer to catch the others sleeve. It was then that he ducked his head, blush seeming to get darker, or at least his face felt hotter. “Do that again?”

Minsoo's eyes widened as Niel took a hold of his sleeve. He felt a smile spread across his face. "You want another... kiss?" Minsoo moved, tilting Niel's cheek up and then kissing him again, softly, encouraging the other  to kiss back. He kept the kiss sweet and innocent, not wanting to come across like a dick. He didn't want to part from the kiss. 

His hand came up to cup Niel's cheek, slowly making the kiss a little more romantic, to show Niel that this wasn't a fluke and that Niel was everything that CAP wanted. That Niel had taken the cyclone spinners heart and that Minsoo wanted to be with him more than anything. Minsoo knew that Niel would have questions, questions he was never really any good at answering.

Minsoo finally pulled back but kept himself close to Niel, wrapping his arms around the younger boys waist just in case he lost control of his power. "I just want you to know that I really meant that." Minsoo whispered, he wasn't even sure what he just said made sense but he just assumed that Niel would get the jist. 

He was still scared, petrified, that Niel would suddenly snap back to reality and shout at him, call him sick, use the word he'd avoided for so long and ask him if he was gay. Minsoo didn't want to lose Niel but he knew he'd crossed a line that could never be uncrossed

Instantaneous Connection|| C.A.P && Dohee

It took only a few performances for Dohee to realize that she needed to join the cirque immediately. Every aspect seemed perfect about it! She wasn’t sure exactly how her ability could compare to some of the others she had seen so far, but that was of little importance at the moment. Once she joined, she would think about all the little details such as what she would actually do for a performance. First, she would deal with her greatest obstacle: finding out how and then joining the cirque.

After sitting through most of the performances, Dohee grew a little impatient, ready to be pronounced a member of the cirque that instant. When one of the male performers finished his routine- a rather impressive display in her opinion- she quietly slipped out of the audience, letting her skin blend and constantly adjust to her surroundings as she sneaked out. Deciding that the man who just left the stage could give her an unknowing tour of the grounds, she waited outside the tent until he came out, bouncing on her toes absently. When he emerged, the chameleon smiled and stalked after him, trying to be as quiet as possible. But she grew bored quickly, and decided to become visible again, hiding behind a tent and then dashing to the next one, pretending she was a spy of some sort.

Rather enjoying her game, she grew lazy, wondering how long it would take for him to realize she was there. Her answer arrived fairly quickly though, for right as she was about to dash to hide behind the next tent he turned around, nearly catching sight of her at first. Freezing, the blonde frowned, knowing her fun was now ruined. With a sigh of defeat, she walked out from behind the tent, studying the man as she stopped before him. Compared to her, he looked like a giant, and that image quickly returned the smile to her lips as she answered him, finally. “Helllooo! My name is Dohee. Min Dohee. I want to join the circus and perform. Do you know what I have to do?”

CAP nodded at the girl and smiled. "You have a talent right?" he smiled a little. "I'm just asking, I'm sure you do." CAP smiled brightly, "Joining is pretty easy, I'll take you to a leader and you basically get assigned a tent and stuff and then you travel with us." he smiled there was something about this girl, he wanted her to get in. She felt like someone he could get along with, well he was pretty sure that they were going to get along really well. 

"Come with me" he said, nodding his head in the direction of the camp. "I'll give you a quick look around before you talk to the head because they are running the show so you won't really be able to talk to them for a bit" CAP shrugged before starting to walk, hoping the girl would walk with him. "So... do you have any family that you're going to be leaving behind?"

CAP smirked at the boy beneath him's eagerness to get his clothes off, CAP pulled his shirt off over his head, he knew his body was muscular and well toned he had nothing to worry about in terms of how his body looked. He knew he looked good beneath his clothing. He leant down to kiss the younger boy. "Isn't this quite a predicament?" he smirked, toying with the waist band of Ren's boxers but not actually pulling them down and off. 

CAP let Ren take control briefly to push his jeans down and then wrap his legs around CAP's waist, when Ren started grinding on him, CAP couldn't help but grind back, he let out a harsh moan, he needed this more than he was willing to admit and it had been far too long since he'd last got some. 

CAP pulled back because quite frankly he needed to get Ren out of the fabric, and he needed to take his jeans all the way off, to give him better movement and there was no way he was going to disappoint the boy between his legs.

White (As Snow) Day| Minsoo && Niel

Niel wasn’t usually one for sleeping in and being a light sleeper, once he woke up in the morning, he wasn’t getting back to sleep any time soon. So with a glance back to the still sleeping Minsoo, the younger slipped out of the tent and into the slowly waking up cirque. Everyone was just starting to wake up and training or setting up was well underway for some.

Though, unlike them, Niel hadn’t had to really do much of anything due to his lack of control and the fact that invisibility isn’t the most helpful or useful ability to have in the circus. He was a little paranoid about spontaneously disappearing and getting knocked around by some of the larger props and wires needed to hold up the tents or for the aerial stunts. But he was working on it. He’d already gotten better since he’d arrived and the boy liked to think it was the relatively drastic change in his surroundings. Going from both emotional and physical pain to having  Minsoo and Chunji (and occasionally Taemin when the older boy wasn’t off flying around) there for him.

Chunji was like a big brother and with his ability to change his appearance, there wasn’t many dull moments. But the one who had the biggest impact on Niel, of course was CAP. The older boy very easily and quickly became the person he relied on most since their fist meeting. Just from thinking about his hyung, his somewhat groggy morning mood had dissipated and left him happy and excited to see the other for their promised practice time.

When enough time had passed, he headed to the meeting point to see the older boy, waiting a little awkwardly as people headed past him and he worked to avoid them. His lips automatically curved into a smile when he saw Minsoo, features lighting up as he looked to the other. “Of course” He nodded, eagerness only tainted by Niels thoughts moving to how cute his hyungs smile was, why CAP didn’t like it, the younger couldn’t work out. He found it endearing and it let more of the others personality slip out past the hard exterior the other had.

Niel followed after Minsoo happily, keeping close as they headed toward a less populated and more open space. This way CAP could practice and Niel wouldn’t be able to get in any trouble if he were to disappear again. The thought reminded him of their first meeting and how he was pulled up into a cyclone before being put back down on the frosty ground of their island. At least this time he wasn’t disheveled and actually looked somewhat decent in his kitschy knit sweater and white jeans (inspired by the date and the fact that snow was still dusting the ground). 

“It’s a lot better…At least I think it is” He added, chewing his lip lightly as his hands disappeared into the sleeves of his jumper to hide from the cold. Niel squeezed his eyes shut in focus, knowing watching CAP would only further distract him than it already did. He slowly disappeared, though it was willed and much quicker than he was used to but he put that down to wanting to impress Minsoo, even if just a little. He relaxed again before becoming visible, a small, somewhat sheepish smile on his lips in the process.

CAP smiled watching the boy become invisible, he felt somewhat proud, the boy had learnt and grown under his guidance. Not that CAP was going to take credit for it, this was all Niel's doing, it was all his will power and his desire to learn to control his power. Minsoo couldn't help but smile as Niel began to come back into visibility. "You did really well." Minsoo praised, only just noticing that during Niel's invisibility they'd gotten closer - probably him moving subconsciously. 

Before Minsoo had time to stop himself, he was leaning closer to Niel, thankful their height difference wasn't very much, Minsoo pressed his lips to Niel's softly, his eyes fluttering shut as for that moment everything fell into place in his mind, the questions he'd asked himself over and over as he lay in his bed thinking about the younger were answered. His lips were soft, it felt good to kiss him. Minsoo kept the kiss innocent, but his eyes closed. 

His hands moved to hold Niel's, wanting this to mean something to Niel too. He felt like the kiss was going on forever, that time was stopping still for this momentous occasion, but in reality it was short. Minsoo slowly pulled back, his eyes opening softly as he looked at the younger. He snapped back to reality as he looked at the boy in front of him. 

"Fuck" he cursed under his breath. "Look, Niel, I'm sorry." Minsoo quickly dropped Niel's hands from his own, scared and fear, like anger was not a good thing for someone who could turn into a cyclone to feel. "I didn't mean to." Minsoo tried to think of some excuse. "Please don't hate me."

  “Oh” Curious by nature Minwoo raised his eyebrows interested. Other people’s misery was often a site of enjoyment and entertainment for himself. Even when he did not show his glee when other people he viewed as idiots were pained by the simple things in life. Like losing their favorite sweater or stepping into dogpoo. People did not know what sorrow was.

“You think you hurt someone?” Minwoo asked and he stared at the boy that didn’t give him a lot to go on. “Well why don’t you tell me what happened and I’ll tell you whether I think you hurt someone or not?” He offered with a smile and wide, fake honest, eyes. “It is always better to talk about these things, letting it out of your heart helps.” He nodded.

Minsoo sighed, he knew he had to let it out sometime and there was no time like the present, right? "I had sex with someone, just a one night stand, I mean I'm not normally that kind of guy but it just happened." Minsoo sighed, "And the person I'm really in love with saw. and they were angry with me for sleeping around." 

Minsoo sighed, "But I don't know if they like me or what is really going on... it's stupid really."
