On Hiatus

The Berries are taking a break for a little while due to me being IRL busy and not being able to get in game to play. 

The Berries will be back soon...

I have reached 250 posts of The Berry Family and I took some family photos to celebrate the occasion! I don’t think I have ever been this attached to a sim family ever and I am so glad that it’s my Berries. I also took this opportunity to capture a picture of my Mint, Rose and Yellow Gen Heirs all in one photo before we lose Aminta to old age… I know that it’s coming, I just don’t what it to happen.

With a new haircut, our first alien Berry has left her childhood behind. Curtis surprised Zaria with a birthday gift of her very own keyboard, which meant Z’s room needed to be rearranged. Don’t mind the empty wall behind her bed, Zaria is planning on filling it with her very own works of art.

The birthday celebrations are not over yet as Zaria, the OG alien, is finally entering adulthood!

Buttercup is a very cute kiddo and I cannot quite believe that my Gen 3 Heir is a child already. Azalea and Buttercup’s shared room was due a major makeover and I think it turned out great.

Happy Birthday Baby Butter! Our Gen 3 Heir is entering childhood, which is definitely cause for celebration. Azzie knows what she’s doing.

Baby Buttercup isn’t going to remain a baby for much longer… it’s her birthday! I decided to capture some family photos of Butter with her parents before she entered childhood. I know that she doesn’t see her father all that much, but Butter and Nikolai have a good relationship regardless. I don’t want her to grow up!

Aminta and Curtis have taken the two youngest Berries to Oasis Springs’ Museum, The Futures Past, for a morning of educational family fun. Azalea, who was very happy to be taken out of school on a “field trip”, used the trip to work on her Young Scientist Scouting Badge. And, Aminta and Curtis found their inner children with a game of Don’t Wake The Llama. Baby Butter had fun too.

Zaria is only allowed to practice her violin during daylight hours, some neighbours may or may not have complained. 

Curtis has picked up programming, though he’s made a promise to himself to never try to hack anything, he may be retired now, but he will always be a man of the law. 

And, Aminta has been trying out some new faux meat recipes with her level 10 Cooking skill, much to the delight of her family. Tonight’s dinner is a veggie Cottage Pie.

Azzie’s friend Evan, who lives across the hall, came over for a Voidcritter Battle. After Azalea’s Pleuro was devastatingly defeated by Evan’s Dicoatl, Azzie challenged him to a game of MySims Racing, which she won, by the way. Before they could decide on what to play as a tie breaker, Evan’s Mum called him home for dinner, which means that Evan will have to come over again to determine the winner. 

Also, little Buttercup, living in a world of her own.

When Kendra agreed to meet her old friend for drinks at the local San Myshuno Coffee House, I don’t think she knew exactly what she was agreeing to. Either way, Kendra seems to have enjoyed herself and Roesia is up to seven boos.

I have to admit, I’ve never really played with a player sim before Roesia and let me tell you, it is both entertaining and stress inducing. Rosie got home from wooing Brielle to her High School Boyfriend, Fox, paying a surprise visit. I don’t think Minta was overly impressed with their PDA in the kitchen… Rosie sent Fox home and David, who lives across the hallway, popped over to use the shower and one thing led to another… Kissing three different people in one day without any of them seeing the other was Stressful (with a capital ‘S’)!

Roesia met the beautiful Miss. Brielle Baker at Myshuno Meadows, while out fishing for supporters today. I think Rosie is just as surprised as I am at how quickly her innocent flirting escalated into some not so innocent romance. Unknown to Brielle, she increases Roesia’s total of “soulmates” up to six.

With a basketball hoop right outside her door, Azzie has been tempted to try it out since she was old enough to know what it was. While San Myshuno sleeps, a little green alien practices her skills on the court.

In other news, Zaria came home from school and spent her afternoon painting her very first Masterpiece! She calls it ‘A Family Of Flowers’ and has decided to frame it on her wall.
