Precisely. I've lost so many friends after high school because of this. Yes, I know it's time to be an adult. But, why rush your life? People I used to talk to on a daily basis are now married with kids. Yeah, I almost did it too but damn am I glad that didn't work out. It's just heartbreaking to see how easy people forget about everything to move forward with their lives. Those close friends in high school are just mere memories now. Luckily I've made new friendships with awesome people. I just fear it'll happen all over again with them. Maybe I'm just scared of accepting growing up
