Gonna write something meaningful at some point about purpose, feeling called to something, and embracing joy because I started doing something I love and I’m good at it and other people who are also good at it are recognizing me as being good at it and sometimes I get so sad that I deprived myself of this feeling for so long but also I can’t be too hard on myself because maybe I wasn’t ready before. A balancing act between joy and maybe a little bit of grief and also immense love of something but it also being the source of self doubt. I don’t know. I’m collecting my thoughts and evaluating my feelings.
The first time I did this, I was so young. In high school! Who even was I?! Being back now is so special. I’ve loved this for so long and all I wanna do is get better. It’s a game I’m playing with myself, I’m my own competition.
