As I have read through all articles about Keller’s contract I’m saying it now, he will be Arizona’s next captain.
The articles radiate future captain energy as a good portion of them are Chayka and Cohen saying how he is off the ice. Because of this I believe that the same thing will happen to Keller as it did with OEL in the sense of OEL being Doan’s successor and Keller eventually becoming OEL’s successor. Also looking back at older articles, interviews and miscellaneous videos of Keller, now after these articles were written , it’s evident that he shows signs of having the same leadership qualities that OEL and Doan possesse and can become a leader for the Coyotes.
