I feel that whenever I talk to an Uber driver about my employment situation and, they don't quite grasp just how saturated the job market is in Mexico and how entry level jobs doesn't exist anymore. It’s easy for them to say, "why don't jst apply to a "maquila" if you have a uni degree?" but even with a university degree, that doesn't guarantee a higher-level position or a better salary—at least, that’s my take, based on the news and the experiences of others in the same boat as me.
