As a fanfic writer I have this sensation of being unable to make Shane call Ilya differently, or Ilya calling Shane differently. The more I write them, the more I keep only their names as a choice because being called Ilya and Shane took them so many years and emotions and strength 😭 it just feels too special to me

Though I do love to read some nicknames when reading others fanfics

But I AM IN JAIL WITH THOSE NAMES for mine

I had been so seduced by Ilya and Shane's love. It feels genuinely so deeply simple to look at their emotions and be like : ah yes...this is what love is about. Not the physical touch, not the intimacy, not the emotional support, not only this but everything in between: the tiny thoughts no one else might have, the tiny detail not everyone can see, the favorite food kept somewhere, the understanding of some silence, or the need to break it sometimes, the need to push it all because it burns with such a strength inside that it's impossible to let go of that person

And all of this just made me fall in love with their love ❤️

"“Hollander?” Ilya asked, a hint of suspicion in his voice.Ilya didn’t think anything at all. He kinda lived well with the fact that he didn’t know if Hollander would come tonight or not. He doubted that he would after he flew the scene, and they only kissed.

“You didn’t say that it was cancelled…” Shane explained, his nose scrunching under the pression of his words.

“You're right this time.” Ilya smirked, proud of the embarrassment he created for Shane. “So Hollander…will you just stand like this ?” He asked, his arm crossed.

Shane bit his lips, it hurt, it gave him the impulse he needed. Ilya had been inviting him. He knew how to kiss him, he did it already. He walked confidently towards Ilya but mostly screamed in surprise when Ilya turned him over and pinned him against the door.

“We didn't cancel but are you still sure ?” He whispered, looking straight in his eyes.

“Sure.” He answered, and he didn’t get how he could clearly tell this. He didn't understand it at all. It felt to him that he began to speak Rozanov's language faster than any other lesson."

"And when Ilya crossed the distance between their lips, something shifted in the air. Something mostly making them forget about this game. Ilya pulled away, and Shane wanted to complain. They only moved their lips for some seconds.

“What's the…name of his great great great grandfather?”

“I have no idea.” Shane wanted to say that he didn't even know who he asked about but he couldn't care less when Ilya kissed him again. When their bodies moved closer, when he blocked Ilya between his chest and the door. When finally he could taste Ilya's tongue. When their mouths began to be one. And when Ilya's hands grabbed softly his hips, he thought that he would crumble.

“Hollander…” Ilya pulled away one more time, both out of breath. “What's 1 +1?”

“...4.”"
