Jack and I are heading to the Vietnamese Embassy this week to apply for our visas for our winter escape.  Every January, the prices of flights drop worldwide, thanks to masses of people halting travel and spending after the holidays.  This time of year I watch Skyscanner obsessively for the go-to airfare steal.  This year it’s our dream trip to Vietnam, $600 roundtrip (!!!)  Before this adventure and beyond, I’ll be filling Claire Eliza with travel tips, city guides, and plenty of photos in between. Where will you be escaping the winter tundra to?

Last Thanksgiving, I ate falafel in my pajamas in East Village watching football on my own, little did I know only a couple days later would I meet my best friend, and absolute love. I am so thankful to spend this day together and the many beautiful days to come. (at Greenpoint Historic District)
