emu6 is such a delight… it always amuses me that wxs is simultaneously the wacky fantastical unit AND also a unit that takes the craft/industry side of things so seriously that they have a whole event dedicated to emu solving this problem of trying to stop the morinomiya board from disbanding a troupe that’s been deemed unprofitable. wxs is like what if you could make basically sentient robots and accomplish impossible physical feats but also remember in order to be an artist you need funding and you need to fill seats and it’s impossible to give everyone what they want so you have to learn how to convince them that what you want is what they want, too. as heightened as our core characters can be, they’re actually deeply invested in everything that goes into making a great show in a pretty grounded way
