Into the Light: Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Lucanis is an assassin given a final contract from his boss and grandmother to fight risen gods and save the world. The problem is that he's been imprisoned for the last year, enduring torments he'd never dreamed of, including becoming an abomination. When he is freed by the person who holds his contract, he thought it was just another job. He never expected to find kindness, true care, or someone who'd support him in seeking revenge on those who did him wrong. Most of all, he never expected to find someone worth holding on to.

With the help of a desk agent, he confronts his past to have a shot at rediscovering himself while experiencing peace in a world full of chaos. He helps her to overcome her own demons and regain what she's lost. A Winter Soldier/OC romance. Rated M for mature content. Aurora: BG3. Complete. The orb is stabilized and Gale is now free to tell Zarra exactly how he feels - and, maybe, show her. Problem is that Zarra has a past that rears its head at the worst times. She opens up to him, sharing those memories for the first time even if it means losing him. Part 1 of the Serendipity series.
