For the love of god PLEASE give me a Moana world in kh4 it fits so fucking WELL. And PLEASE throw xehanort in there aswell

Both of them grew up on an Island they wanted to leave to explore the world outside just like Moana did. Sora and his friends even planned to do it by SAILING away. Not to forget that both of them are now seperated from said island

Sora is trying to make his way back home just like Moana is trying to find the way to her destination

THAT WORLD WOULD HIT TOO CLOSE TO HOME FOR BOTH OF THEM

ITS JUST. THE CONCEPT OF FUCKING XEHANORT COMFORTING SORA AT HIS LOWEST AGAINST ALL ODDS IN HIS WEIRD FREAK WAY. AUH.

Listen. Listen. I love Kingdom Hearts with my whole, well, heart. I have been a die-hard little obsessed fool of a fan since I was, like, 13 or 14. I love my anime insert blorbos being friends with my Disneh blorbos. I love running around Disneh worlds. I love!!! Keyblades!!! How they are designed and are more like clubs than swords lmao. I love Heartless and Nobodies and Unversed, all their designs too. KH2 is not only one of my fav ganes ever but one of the best games out there ever made. Birth By Sleep makes me super emotional. Dream Drop Distance is so colorful anf lets you have little monster pals. Even with KH3 switching to Unreal Engine, its still pretty good. It's all such good stuff. But...

But something about the end-ending and DLC of KH3 thay leads into what we are seeing for KH4.... doesn't feel the same anymore. Sora's anine face/hair looks so weird on a Totally Normal Human Body. No big shoes or feet or head. He is older, the whole fandom is older, i'm 33 for crying out loud, but he isnt cartoonish anymore, apart from his hairstyle. The world we have seen so far, too, isnt cartoonish and whimsical anymore. It's just real-world Japan. It isnt like Traverse or Twilight Town, or Hollow Bastion, where the world is unique and still cartoonish and whimsical and fantasy. Now it's all... normal and weird. Grey. Not colorful. Sora has slowly lost his colorful clothing, from bright primaries to primarily black. He's separated from everyone, his friends, who are the most important thing in the world to him, and why he sacrificed himself, and I am sure they will find him again, but... why is it so drastically different in mood? In tone and visuals? Why does it not feel like Kingdom Hearts anymore? Why dont i feel excited, like I used to? Did it get too real? Did they strip the whimsy from my favorite whimsical series? Am I just being too nostalgic, unaccepting of change? Has the word "whimsy" lost all meaning from overuse in this paragraph??!

I want to be happy and excited, but now i think i just want to replay the old games instead of anticipating the new one.
