Hours to stop Virginia's anti-gay bill

Virginia is considering a law that would allow doctors, teachers, and all companies to deny service to gay, lesbian, and bi people under the guise of “religious or moral conviction”. In the face of progress for marriage equality, this is how anti-gay groups are fighting back. More than 124,000 of us have asked Virginia’s House General Laws Committee members to vote NO on the proposed anti-gay bill. Tomorrow, the petition will be delivered directly to the Committee’s Chair. The stakes are high and assembly delegates - even the Speaker of the House - are feeling the heat. We have less than 24 hours to increase the pressure and get to 150,000 signatures before the delivery tomorrow, and let politicians know that we are watching.
