clarissa-p-winchesterâ:
Clarissa felt like a child getting scolded, and couldnât help but turn her face away from Michael, wincing inwardly. The truth was always the hardest thing Clarissa ever had to hear, and she hated that Michaelâs advice made her sound like she was a child. Deep down, however, she remembered that to him, she basically was a child. Michael was eons years old. She was practically a blink of an eye to him. Clarissa mumbled, picking at dry blood on her hands. âI know, I know. Iâm sorry. I thought I had it under control, but I didnât. The guy had backup. I just wasnât prepared.â Clarissa looked up after pausing. âWhat now? Whatâs the plan?â
The expression is all too familiar to the archangel. That face of disappointment. Heâs seen it with his own siblings who have done the exactly same thing when they were starting off. Michael knows Clarissa means well and just wants to get rid of a demon who is a threat to civilization. The demon had reinforcements? Now that was new for a demon who claims to be powerful. âDid you get a good look at the other demon?â Of course heâs worried about the human, but getting back at the demon for harming Clarissa was now top priority. âNow we do have to go in well prepared. For you to go in and fight; it gave up more information. A better plan.â
Clarissa looked up at Michael, shaking her head. âYeah. His vessel looked young, probably around my age. Blonde hair, blue eyes...pretty generic.â Clarissa shrugged before wincing slightly. Her body was sore from her fight, but her determination to win allowed her to pull through. Sitting back in her seat, she asked. âWhatâs the plan? Do we go in quietly for the element of surprise, or do we go in with battle cries?â Either way would result in deaths, and she preferred it to be the demonsâ deaths.
