Leto actually knew who Hitori was since she was 7. Reason for this? Leto is best friends with Aino, Hitori's older twin sister, since they were 6! Growing up, Leto was always very shy, struggling to speak up and stand her ground, with a big heart that makes her too afraid to make a situation negative. Leto and Aino became fast friends since when Aino first started school, no one wanted to be around her for how "weird" she was. Knowing what it's like to be alone, Leto ended up trying to befriend her, and they have been best friends since.
When Leto ends up learning about the Aino's having a twin who would become a magical girl, her mother and the researchers had to have a meeting over it. A contract was signed that ensured that Leto's mom or Leto herself would share the knowledge they know, and in exchange, Leto's mom's bakery would get funding from the researchers for anything they need to keep in business. In turn, Leto's mom gives baked sweets and pastries to the researchers. This allowed Leto and Aino to keep being friends throughout their lives without feeling restricted.
Leto is actually slightly younger than Hitori and Aino, but incredibly smart for her age... at least, in fields that she likes a lot. Anytime her and Aino get caught up in an attack and Hitori swoops in to save them, both Aino and Leto are confused with why Hitori has to act like she doesn't know them when it's very clear she does. In one of these attacks, however, it made Leto fear for Aino's safety even tho she knows Aino can easily take care of herself. On top of this, Leto has been dealing with a lot of bullying in school. Everyone keeps spreading rumors that Aino is only beside Leto out of pity since they've known each other since they were 6. This isn't true, right?
So, Leto wanted to become a magical girl to not only be sure she can help make sure Aino, her first and best friend, someone so important to her, is safe, but to also show the world that she is capable of being strong and brave enough to stand beside Aino and others as equals!
When she becomes a magical girl, she gets a bow and arrows she can make out of crystals. Her power? It's a little unique and requires her weapon to use. While her arrows are used as attacks, she can make special arrows that when they hit a target, they don't hurt the enemy, but they stick to the enemy and act as a tracker in her eyes. No one else will be able to see it, but when the enemy is far away with the tracker, she can see a glowing light in the distance.

- Aino sewed the patches onto her jeans when they got holes in them.
- Leto is clumsier than Hitori is, while Hitori's is a show to hide her abilities, Leto's is by accident.
- Her favorite color is actually yellow! Blue is her second favorite color.
- She used to do archery when she was very little, and will sometimes still do it when she gets the chance.
- Leto normally wears glasses, but when she became a magical girl, Elona heals her vision to make it easier for her to fight and not worry about breaking her glasses.
- Her birthday is January 21st.
- Personality wise: While being smart in subjects that excite her, she is very shy and meek! She is nervous of confrontation. Anytime she does try to stand up for herself, she is backed into a corner, and it makes her start to over think everything and become unable to speak. On top of that, Leto actually has social anxiety, so it makes confronting people even harder. However, she tends to be considerate of others that are dear to her. She admires Aino for being confident and able to do public speaking amazingly well, she doesn't harbor envy to her. Her love for Aino makes her want to try and be better so Aino can see her as an amazing girl as much as she does to Aino.
- She helps out at her mom's bakery often! Leto enjoys it a lot and has even come up with some of the designs for pastries they sell or posters to advertise everything.
- Leto loves photography! Aino will even model for her at times.
- She also loves theater! She is a part of stage crew at their high school, but is too nervous to try and act despite she wants to! On top of theater, she does music classes as well. Only Aino and her mother have heard her sing and play outside of her classes.
