There's a beauty to repetition. I think it's got to do with trying improve things by the time you reach the same point again. Trying to be in the same place, to get the same feeling, but to remember it clearer , to image it being brighter and more colourful so by the time it loops again and you're in the same place your expectation is met and exceeded,but it's never quite like you remembered it, and you repeat your actions to get back to the same place.
