Classic Anniversary

This weekend I got to enjoy a life most people only dream. I took my wife down to a fancy hotel I'm talking 500 dollar a night. I did it all for the woman I love and it got me to thinking about what people do to celebrate years of marriage. I know back in the day most women got a new wedding ring after so many years. Men didn't really get a gift, but made sure women were taken care of. I want to remind the women anniversary are not yours alone and make sure you do something special for your significant other. Men your woman is worth it and women your man is worth it. I hope you have a happy anniversary and remember stay classic.

I think we have gotten to a point were marriage is not taken seriously. The divorce rate being 50 percent is an indication that we enter the union with the wrong mindset. Marriage is an up and down process, but what holds it together is love. Love is the foundation it must be built on or it will fail. Think about the worst times of your life and the thing that brought you through was someone loving on you. Marriage requires love and patience. The two go hand in hand like a seatbelt. I know you are thinking what does a seatbelt have to do with love and patience. The seatbelt does not work without the buckle just like marriage doesn't work with love and patience. Alone they don't do anything but together they can save a marriage. Remember to stay classy and love.

I think about all the years I have wasted letting myself get fat. I think about the diabetes I have acquired because of the life style I chose. I remember a time when the majority of people were not over weight and took pride in how we look. I remember saying I will never get fat when I was a child. I look now and what happened to that promise? I think if people are honest we lazy and make excuses for things that require hard work. Unless you have a medical condition diagnosed by a doctor than there is really no excuse to be fat like I am. I say that because at this moment I am trying to lose weight to get back to that classic look. I want to encourage you to start if you haven't and of you are trying don't give up.
