Thanks for checking out "Classic Yugo", the online home for Bob Oseychik’s 1986 Yugo GV! I’m his son, Scott, and am helping share the fun, laughs, and joy that the Yugo has brought him. Yes, the Yugo has historically been referred to as “the worst car ever made.” But to my Dad (and other auto purists), a barn find like this transcends the kind of car. It’s a 1986, and still has less than 100 miles on it. It’s damn near brand new; albeit 26 years old … and to my Dad, it’s his pride & joy. He constantly wrestles with keeping it pristine vs. driving it, but after taking it for a short drive, I understand his dilemma … it’s absolutely a blast to drive! Backstory … After my Dad learned about this car, and that it was scheduled to be included in an estate sale, he scooped it up before it went to bidding. And has had a ear-to-ear smile ever since.
