It's not exactly modern too, I personally imagine it having 80s or 90s vibes. Hell, maybe even 70s. These times feel somewhat rougher and darker imo,
And subcultures were a real thing back then. Where does it all take place? Hell if I know. Somewhere lol, Nargothrond citystate
Túrin is The edgelord of all time. I strongly believe his wardrobe is mostly black, with a few exceptions of like plain or band t-shirts. He would sort of be into customizing his stuff?? Nothing too over the top tho, a few patches and spikes here and there, maybe he'd make holes in his jeans(by accident). Let's be real he doesn't have that much skill or patience to do more, but he WOULD want to impress and express
He'd wear chokers unironically and think they make him look cooler. Also he would use eyeliner but furiously deny that if asked
I like to draw lanky characters but Túrin is lowkey jacked. Him and Beleg were gym bros, 100%. He also has tattoos. Definitely one on his shoulder, a red heart with something, like beleg's name ig. (That's a stupid idea but i draw it nonetheless) Idk if Gwindor would have any. Probably one or two from his time of being a POW but he doesn't like to show them at all
Gwindor, as i once said, prolly has more variety in style. He'd actually wear formal suits(not often but still), old army jackets and ofc that usual old metalhead attire. Simpler, kind of more serious. If Túrin is in his phase then this guy's a boomer
Gwindor wears sunglasses even on rainy days. Probably because he doesn't like others looking into his eyes and he's still not used to the brightness of the outside world. He wants to appear more tough, more formal, but he's really just tired.
He'd sometimes make fun of Túrin's edgy and over the top attitude. Light-heartedly.
Both guys smoke like trains. That's for sure. And for some reason only Gwindor always smells like tobacco
If it were the 90s, they'd jam to Nirvana. But I feel like Gwindor is more into the older stuff, like Cheap Trick and all
