Built a small eurorack case for testing modules, mostly because I have no idea what Iâm doing yet and also no budget for a proper one.
Been using modules for automation, filters, mixers, that kind of stuff, so I needed something simple to hold everything together.
Previously tried making one from a wooden box. it looked nice, but took up a bit too much space and swapping modules was kind of a pain because of the fixed cutouts.
This version however it's made from perforated aluminium sheets I randomly found in a craft store. Folded and cut everything by hand.
Somehow the perforation spacing lines up with eurorack screw holes, which felt like winning the lottery.
Nothing groundbreaking here, just a cheap and slightly scrappy way to make a case.
Had fun though.
