Python Syntax - Math

Addition:

addition_var = 50 + 10 #60

Subtraction:

subtraction_var = 50 - 10 #40

Multiplication:

multiplication_var = 5 * 10 #50

Division:

division_var = 10 / 5 #2

Exponentiation:

exponentiation_var = 2 ** 3 #8

Modulo:

modulo_var = 5 % 2 #1

In the next image there’s a way for calculating the final cost of a meal in a restaurant. We print the total using the instruction:

print(”%.2f” % total)

Which prints the variable total, the entire integer part and just 2 decimal digits.

Well, I know there's a lot of info about arduino, raspberry pi and stuff. Know I am beginning a project using raspberry, and I'm new at this so, I remembered when I was new at arduino, at the beginning I saw how to install and prepare everything for using arduino so it was easy for me to search info about arduino, 'cause I knew what I had to search. But now that I'm starting with raspberry, I'm kinda lost, that's why I will post some info for beginners about arduino, like really really basic things we have to do at the start, and  things I will learn doing my research about the pi.
