anyway, here’s a drawing of nightvex (kane), apparition, and road rage! apparition i have only showed in a sketch and road rage I have never shown.

also, can you tell I like drawing hands? no matter how long or painful it is, I love when they turn out well— like here! do not fret, im still going to be posting fanart, I just had an idea for my own characters and made it

not what you expected from me huh? i can draw angst too, er, sort of.

i had fun with this! i usually don't draw full bodies but i had a vision and i trusted myself to work it through if it looked bad, thankfully it didn't. also, back again with the line-less (kinda) art, i was originally going to render it but i couldn't bring myself to lol.

overtly based off of snow white's glass coffin, this time with hydrangeas instead of a bed, not like you'd be able to tell what flower.

would any of you like if i posted sketches? like the non-cleaned up ones.

i know i said i would only post this once i was finished with it (as in either i didn't want to work on it anymore or it was complete) but i am not actually done with this yet.

for one, i am overdue for a post; for two, im trying out tweening so i might be wrangling with that for a while and i didn't want to leave you guys in the dust... think of this as a snack, i guess?

also prince/princess lovebug or fae lovebug? just for kicks.

the anntena on lovebug (canon) was so incredibly difficult to draw added with the fact that i ended up with a ball-headed version because their hair tuff made them look like jack-jack from the incredibles; it was a hard time.

also, i didn't see it at first, but i caught sight of the fact that i've been drawing my own design half-right half-wrong. my lovebug's heart braids are techically upside down. i have since made it into a character quirk but, in truth, it was an accident.

skyward was both easy and terrifying to draw. i didn't realize how large i made my version's horns, that when i drew canon, i immediately noticed how innacurate it was. and how devious mine looked lol

both original skyward and lovebug have such good designs and i feel like i didn't do them justice considering my inability to replicate artstyles and character motifs. regardless, i had fun so its not too big of a deal.

anyway, i hope this is a good frame of reference for the zero people who asked for this (me)

ps: im so upset bro, i literally had a [mabteias] post up and ready to ship to market but it got flagged (while in my drafts mind you) for mature content. which there wasn't any besides a singular word that could be taken as an innuendo. i didn't mean it in that way, and im worried if i say the word here, ill get flagged again. sadly, there isn't much i can do besides wait for a human reviewer to look over my draft.

i finally made another drawing of them-- this time in different clothes, wow. i had been meaning to draw sky and bug for a while but i kept getting distracted by other random ideas, regardless, we made it.

also i know the creator said skyward dresses plainly (from what i remember) but i couldn't do that to him, its not in my blood.

lovebug is wearing a handmade quilt as a shawl and a beret. skyward is wearing sleeveless turtle neck, a long-sleeve hoodie (with tassels attached to the cuffs), baggy cargo pants, and two oversized belts.

uh I got possesed and made this after seeing/hearing that there was a dragon in the movie, although its not really related design wise. think wyvern-centaur and this is what i made

the second version is with horns that are supposed to look like a mythosaur's; they don't lol

oh and i tried out a new logo/watermark. its alright.

hello... im sorta back

so i said i was going to take a break, and i did, but i immediately got decked in the face by art block. finally i was able to make a sketch recently (the image above lol) and i'm hoping to post more once i get back into the groove-- maybe once a week?

this... idk whatever it is, is of kane (nightvex) and apparition! the latter being someone i have not shown yet, obviously. i'm planning on doing another drawing of them when, well, y'know my wrist stops crying like a little bitc--

also thank you all for the support on my sketches and (formerly) singularly finished piece. i never expected so many people to like them. the reason why i uploaded my first ever post was simply so the creators of MABTEIAS could see the art i made, so i just didn't think about how so many other people would interact with it.

it all just made me giddy and happy to share.

at the behest of thine majesty ruler sakura i have made a oneshot (?)

joking, the prompt was from a friend: lovebug eating cotton candy.

i imagine that lovebug has some gnarly mandibles, like a praying mantis', behind the exoskeleton plates that make up their face. as you can see by the massive bite mark on the cotton candy.

it's not rendered this time, but i generally don't actually render my art. my skyward and lovebug drawing is an outlier in a sea of unfinished pieces.

(i just realized you can't tell what skyward is carrying-- they're bags, you can also see them near their legs on the final panel)

anyway, the hirigana beside skyward is: futan (ふたん), meaning burden. but i changed it to burdened in english for clarity. and the hirigana beside lovebug reads: manzoku (まんぞく), literally read satisfaction, which i also changed the tense of to satisfied.

(i by no means know japanese, so i apologize if i am incorrect.)

art notes:

i made this before the most recent episode/video so lovebug is inaccurate (i added the tail after scrambling when i saw the thumbnail)

i forgot to add lovebug's wings, but if i had the drawing would be cluttered, so i guess its fine? just imagine they have really, really tiny moth wings hidden behind their sweater

skyward's line width is thinner than lovebug's because i drew him first and hadn't figured out what i wanted lol

skyward's chest piece is inaccurate because the lava things aren't imbedded in the cuirass as shown in tothesky's drawn thumbnails (found that out late and was already to deep into the process to stop...)

i worked too hard on skyward's hands and the fire not to have each character separate so you could see them...

skyward's skirt actually has a back piece (like a butt cover) but it blends in with the front due to its color, but i know its there

i wish i made skyward's expression more downward like how their face is depicted in the creator's art; you win some you lose some

skyward's left (facing the viewer) thigh guard (?) (the black and red things on his legs) is wrong but the front facing perspective was so bad i just couldn't do that to them

(Im so scared to use tags but I know that this is the only way for the creator to see TT)
