I imagine the mating rituals of shark merfolk to be much more aggressive than other merfolks’. Like, maybe they’re drawn to the scent of each other’s blood, so they purposely bite themselves to attract mates and stuff, end up nipping a lot when they find each other like real sharks, then do the thing in a sea of their own blood and bubbles… because sharks.

… so then i doodled sourin trash mating ritual things without the shark penises HURRDEEFURr
