Captured/Experimented-On!Rafayel x MC/Reader

Remembered to post about another multi-chapter fic before it's almost over this time 🤩

This one spawned from Rafayel repeatedly alluding to being captured (like in Your Fragrance) and me needing more on that. Basically what happens when EVER decides to recapture Rafayel, specifically focusing on the messy aftermath/recovery.

It's currently around 11k words and 3 chapters in (out of maybe 10?).

Summary: Rafayel is missing. His house is a disaster, signs of a struggle everywhere. The only direction you’re pointed towards is his disappearance having something to do with EVER.

After over a week of dead ends and sleepless nights, you finally find out where they’re keeping him and break inside to bring him home. You get him out alive, but the barely conscious man you carry out is a shell of the one who was taken.

Hello! I hope you are having a nice weekend so far. I am here to send a fic request—I had two ideas I wanted to throw your way so you can pick which one you like best:

First one is someone targeting Xavier because they suspect he’s Lumiere (maybe a gang he stole Protocores from or something) And they grab him on his way home from work so MC has to track him down for rescue.

And since you haven’t written Sylus whump yet, my other idea was Sylus taking a hit for MC during a fight because of course he does, but he doesn’t realize it’s one of the antimatter weapons so he can’t heal himself. (You might be able to use this for the ‘wound that won’t heal’ BTHB square too.)
