My lovely sister Cathy singing Maps by Maroon 5. We shot this video somewhere around a year ago, it is the second video I ever shot and edited! I’m very very proud of her path and what she is still able to give to the world, she’s now in medical studies so we won't have much time to work on things together anymore, so I really hope this cover speaks to you as much as it touches me. La Princesse ...Nous sommes la commission d'enquête d'un tribunal devant lequel vous aurez à répondre de certains de vos actes. Ce tribunal désirerait savoir si vous plaidez coupable ou non coupable. (A Heurtebise) Voulez-vous donner lecture des deux chefs d'accusation. Heurtebise Primo : vous êtes accusé d'innocence, c'est à dire d'atteinte à la justice en étant capable et coupable de tous les crimes, au lieu de l'être d'un seul, apte à tomber sous le coup d'une peine précise de notre juridiction. Secundo : vous êtes accusé de vouloir sans cesse pénétrer en fraude dans un monde qui n'est pas le vôtre. Plaidez-vous coupable ou non coupable ? Le Poète Je plaide coupable dans le premier et dans le second cas. J'avoue être cerné par la menace des fautes que je n'ai pas commises et j'avoue avoir souvent voulu sauter le quatrième mur mystérieux sur lequel les hommes écrivent leurs amours et leurs rêves. La Princesse Pourquoi ? Le Poète, avec un geste d'impuissance Sans doute par fatigue du monde que j'habite et par horreur des habitudes. Aussi par cette désobéissance que l'audace oppose aux règles et par cet esprit de création qui est la plus haute forme de l'esprit de contradiction... propre aux humains. La Princesse Si je ne me trompe, vous faites de la désobéissance un sacerdoce ? Le Poète Sans elle, que feraient les enfants, les héros, les artistes ? Heurtebise Ils ne compteraient que sur leur bonne étoile.

Greek Gods and Goddesses - Thetis

THETIS was a goddess of the sea and the leader of the fifty Nereides. Like many other sea gods she possessed the gift of prophesy and power to change her shape at will. 

In her desperate attempts to protect her son, Achillies, during the Trojan War, Thetis called in many favours from the gods. These included Hephaistos and Dionysos, both of whom she had given refuge in the sea as they faced crises of youth, and Zeus, whose throne she had protected by summoning the giant Briareus when the gods had sought to bind him.    (x)

MYTHOLOGY MEME :  ten goddesses → sedna

       Sedna was the Inuit goddess of the sea, the creatures that inhabit it, and the underworld. She was once a beautiful maiden, but was sacrificed to the sea. Though greatly feared, she was sought by Shamans so she would release seals for hunting. She rules over all sea life, and decides the fate of, not only the creatures, but the people who hunt them. If one does not make a prayer to Sedna before heading out to hunt, they are destined to fall by her hand. According to one myth, she resides in Adlivun in an impenetrable ice castle where she spends her days amongst the whales and other sea creatures.
