The United States medical system is in dire fucking distress. It doesn’t work. It straight up does not work. The idea of for-profit medicine is antithetical to the purpose of medicine. Every part of the United States medical system is soaked in bureaucracy, racism, misogyny, ableism, classism and greed to maximize profits. It kills patients. It kills providers. It kills nurses. And it is only getting worse, not better, worse. Instead of admitting this and working to fix it, a not insignificant percentage of the population has adopted a “If you’re sick, it’s a moral failing.” attitude and started capitalizing on useless fucking supplements and whatever the villainized food of the day is.

The Roberts' Supreme Court is a cancer on America.

They have protected Trump from consequences for all his crimes. Gutting voting protections citing a lack of racism is a gift to MAGA fascists.

Edit: just for context for those who don’t know what kosa is, it’s short for the Kids Online Safety Act, you may think it sounds good, but in reality, it’s one of those bills that’s going to be used to censor free speech online and make kids more unsafe by giving their private data to strangers under the guise of protecting them, I suggest doing your own research or asking others about it

It's not r*pe, it's rape. It's not su*cide, it's suicide. Not unalive, dead. The backbone needs to be reintroduced en masse because softening the blow of these concepts with advertising language does absolutely nothing but allow people unaffected by them to feel not even a sting of what they can do, prompting inaction.

And it's been proven that on certain websites, you don't even face a repercussion for using the words as they are. People just started censoring themselves because they feared the potential lack of views and likes and followers which is so nasty itself.

I attended an anti-suicide seminar in college. One of the big takeaways from it was that stigmatizing suicide increases the rate of suicide, because people who are feeling suicidal feel like they can't ask for help. Every time I see babytalk garbage like 'unalive', I think of that.
