Genderfluid Paula/Paolo tineline

Left to right: Paula's canon age, Paula as a young adult drag king (Magic Bowman), and adult Paolo expressing himself with a genderfluid flag.
Having grown tired of her hyperfemine presence during her time as the Little Mother, Paula seeks out a reverse drag career while at university to make extra money.
Her reverse drag career as Magic Bowman (he/him) had been an eye opener for her identity in a way she didn't expect. She started questioning her gender, having enjoyed being referred to as he/him for the Magic Bowman role.
Paula's relationship with masculinity was, at first, kind of an illusion. After all, she was inspired by reverse drag as a means of escaping her family-enforced hyperfemininity. And she doesn't realise why she liked being referred to he/him as Magic Bowman. As far as she knew, he was a character and she had to play the part.
Then she realised she was the character. Her little mother persona, her sweet girl behaviours, her motherly tendencies. They were all taught to her from an early age. She realised her hyperfeminiity was faker than her role as Magic Bowman. She started considering wether she was a trans man. And when he publicly presented as a man on his days off, he realised he also liked his feminine side. And after talking with a therapist, Paula realised they were bigender.
Paolo, his masculine name, came out to Ness, and he accepts it with no questions asked. Ness knows Paolo and Paula are the same person, and he loves them all the same.
Paolo would go on low dose T to lower his voice and masculinise his face, neutralising his looks in a way that accounts for his fluidity.
