My head canon for Aaliyah x Cruz: Cruz was submissive in her relationship with Aaliyah and it reflected in their intimate moments as well. Out of guilt and out of her unpreparedness to actually falling in love, she let Aaliyah take the lead on how and where their relationship would go. But in the last episode, when they had their last moment together where Cruz was trying to come clean and show a bit of her true identity to Aaliyah, she was more forward with her words, and in her actions. Cruz was truly tortured both physically and emotionally this whole time… Her emotions were tore a million different ways… poor thing.
