the most shocking? taylor dropped an insane bar on us after her date with cari: "it's really nice to have a friend who doesn't make you wonder." we have a few things in mind as to what this could be about, but if we had to guess upfront? it's gonna be a long summer.

let's start off strong: phoebe stood eiza up. we have no words for this one. rumor has it phoebe was a little hyperfixated on a previous tour mate of hers and her date with eiza entirely "slipped her mind." a little embarassing for gahyeon, but she was so wrapped up in her date with jeonghan that she forgot her lingering feelings for him aren't reciprocated and tried feeding him across the table. instant vibe kill. would hate to be at the table next to them. we already gave you the vibes on john and hayley. rekindling. timothee and sydney met up in new york for their little moment of reconnection and it left them both spiraling in self doubt. it seems like seeing each other sent both their world's sideways. dramatic!

he's been meeting up with someone cute, yeah. he's got a bit of a crush, even, and we're rooting for him and this person who's, allegedly, getting over someone else to work out!! even if not, he sure does seem to have a supportive friend group to fall back on, and we love to see it.

yves seems very preoccupied with her upcoming debut, and she is very, very confused about whether something is happening between her and a verrry pretty boy she has not spoken to a single person about. so, that might be the weird thing.

madison and noah had a wonderful time! the sparks weren't romantic, don't worry jacob, but the friendship fireworks were absolutely lit like the fourth of july. they had such a fun time. like, talk about future besties. they both expressed feeling worried they'd have nothing in common since they're so different, but they apparently finished their little facetime date promising to keep in touch. sabrina and randy went camping for theirs and they were able to find a lot of closure in how their relationship ended. while we never condone ghosting (c'mon randy, i thought we were more mature than that?), sabrina seems hopeful and we want the best for her.

how did hayley and john’s date go after she was on the dash denying he’s her man?

not anon holding hayley to her word! it sounded boring if you ask us (lunch and they walked their dogs...yawn), but john did hit her with the confession of a lifetime and hayley's spending as much time in arizona as she can before jet-setting off to the eras tour, so it sounds like they're taking things slow. all of that to say: he's definitely her man.
