Posavac breed is well known by their hunting abilities, great physic and high loyalty towards their owners. Hounds make brilliant pets, companions, family members. All of the posavac dogs we have had have gone to families with kids which isn't surprising because they are very smart and friendly dogs.

Now, one of the pupps has grown so much to be one of the biggest dogs in the litter of 9 Posavac hounds.

Our youngest need your help to get them finally fully immunized and prepare them for adoption.

These puppies were found in a city market, abandoned and alone at 1.5 months of age- in a grocery bag Slobodanka brought them to her home, knowing that if she doesn’t do it, no one else would and these babies would be perished…

They got their 1st jab 3 weeks ago and now it’s revaccination time.

🚨We need 30euros to pay for the vaccinations.

Thank God, they have remained healthy inspite parvo cases which happened recently in their surroundings thanks to the good nourishment they get.They eat puppy kibble & puppy wet food - boy oh boy how much do they love little bags with wet puppy food in it, so if you’d like to contribute towards their food costs, you can easily donate here:

Dewormers needed for 102 dogs!🙏🙏🙏

Every 3 months we put all of our efforts to buy anthelmintic medicator for our dogs.

Now we are a month late and we need to purchase it immediately.😭

Also, we need 15 annual vaccines so they could stay healthy and well.🙏

She is one of 9 Posavac puppies who we have had since 1-month-old puppies.

Pinky was the weakest one. She had one very tough period in her life when she was severely ill from distemper but she overcame it with lots of care. Once she joined us to the shelter after the recovery, she showed the mischievous side of her personality - a girl who can play tirelessly, rip out toys just for fun, a barker, sniffer, fast runner, you name it.

Last night, we received a call and we’ve been told about a dog in a nearby village with an open and festering wound on his leg. We were on the way immediately. After we picked him up, we decided to put him in our friend's house.

Even though it was today and all veterinary services are out of duty, and despite our outstending debt of €300, they did us a favor and opened the ordination in the morning.

Luckily, the injury was not as old as we have thought, so they managed to sew it up, but how did he get injured nobody knows.

He needs to stay under antibiotic therapy for a couple of days, and than we gonna return him back to the village, because locals there take care of him and love him.

The bill is €50 and we really need to pay for it urgently, so if you can help us, please do it!

A month ago, we got an information that there are 3 puppies in the nearby cemetery..

Their mom unfortunately, died in an accident when her head got stuck in a plastic bottle that eventually resulted with suffocating💔💔

From the 2nd of July, our Slobodanka is looking after them, taking care and bringing food. Last week they were supposed to get vaccines but we noticed symptoms of virus Parvo🥺 Even though the weather is unstable here and that conditions work well for viruses we were hoping that it wouldn’t come to this. We started our fight for two of them in Sunday, unfortunately the third one passed away🤍

This will contribute to drastic increase of our debt to the Vet and we need your help🙏🙏🙏

She was just a one-month-old puppy when thrown in front of the sanctuary for dogs. This is an often scenario so it didn't come as a surprise to our friend who found her and decided to take her in. So small, this baby girl got the name Maya and started to live as a member of a numerous crew that counts more than 40 dogs.

Maya has been placed in a puppy section where she has been living ever since.

While he was playing with others, our poor soul Rolly got injured...😏

We were not sure what kind of injury he got, but we noticed that there is a bulge on his elbow that looks like an egg. Even though our debt to the Vet is still big, we couldn't wait no longer, because the bulge started growing. There we’ve been told that condition is called Bursitis and there is a chance for that to occure again. He got all the necessary therapy and that costs us €10. Also, we need your help to pay €30 for castration and for the regular monthly costs that include food🙏🙏

We are helpless without your donations and the fact that we cannot help everyone is already heartbreaking💔

News about Pinky🥰

Pinky has been fighting with distemper the whole June, and eventually got over it. Appropriate care and food were the key. She arrived at our shelter in July and we had been waiting her to adjust so we could do an update☺️She really loves to eat, so she added extra 5 kilos. She is always over the Moon when we arrive and when she gets her toys. Also, Pinky enjoys being with other dogs.

Thanks to you, we paid all her bills last month but now we need an extra €50 for her sterilization and additional €30 for her food evry month🙏

Azra is one of the puppies from the litter found in the vicinity of the shelter, whose ground known as highly contaminated was a constant threat to her and her siblings' lives for weeks.

Once the puppies got their jabs and became fully immunized they got to start going out of their pen a little bit and explore the surroundings- what a joy it is looking them so cheerful and all those bum wiggles.

Now, It's Azra's turn to try out her luck and find her forever home!

As tiny puppies they were left in front of the animal sanctuary years ago. But because the conditions in which they were kept weren't satisfactory and puppies didn't have enough space, a boy who volunteered there took them with him.

Years passed and these lovely pups have grown into beautiful dogs, good-natured and very affectionate.

Need their loving homes asap❤️

Because they love each other so much, it would be the best to keep them together but we understand that is highly unlikely so we'd accept adopting them separately as long as each is loved and cherished just the way they deserve.
