now about someone about equally as problematic
as a child, elijah knew all he had to do was ask in order to get what he wanted. after all who would resist the puppy dog eyes he mastered? soon after he realized how much more he could get from people if he told them what they wanted to hear. then over the years he got better at choosing his words carefully and achieving the same results
he also realized the power of intimidation and how much appearances impacted others. so he took it upon himself to try to be the best in every area he could. in addition to working out daily, he played soccer, swam, took voice lessons as well as piano lessons, and excelled in school. he even took a few dance lessons to prove he could. all of which he did in hopes that it would make him untouchable
but by having that background, he’s become more of doryphore and doesn’t realize how critical and blunt he can be
elijah cooks in his spare time because it’s one of the things that relaxes him. truthfully, he began cooking to spend more time with his mom, but he’d never admit to that. he continued to perfect his skills because there weren’t many people he trusted cooking for him that wouldn’t fuck it up in some way. more known to people, he enjoys being “over the top” with his cooking with garnishes and overall just making the dish look aesthetically pleasing.
he’s very much a “who the fuck do you think you are? only i can say that” kind of brother. he does care for his family and can be protective over his siblings, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to manipulate them as well
he’s definitely the type that is more willing to spend the time to come up with creative ways to get out of things by having someone else take care of it instead of doing it himself. however, elijah does have his exceptions where he will very adamantly insist he’ll take care of it
100% a shopaholic and is always down to gossip
why is he like this? mainly because he can. also since life has always been essentially handed to him on a silver platter, he expects that to never change and he expects the best.
i kinda see him being a mix of neal from white collar, harvey from suits, jackson from teen wolf, and gina from brooklyn nine nine
